  1. PAUL REED SMITH SILVER SKY JOHN MAYER SIGNATURE - Golden Mesa #9639
    $2,299.00

"It's been a dream of mine for years to design a guitar that includes some of my favorite vintage specifications but with a modern spirit and aesthetic. After two years of study and refinement, the Silver Sky is my vision of what a reboot of the electric guitar should look and feel like." – John Mayer
The PRS Silver Sky is the result of a close collaboration between Grammy Award-winning musician John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith. More than two and half years in the making, the Silver Sky is a vintage-inspired instrument that is at once familiar but also newly PRS through and through. This model was based off of Mayer and Smith’s favorite elements from 1963 and 1964 vintage instruments, resulting in an idealized version of a vintage single-coil guitar. The attention that was paid to every detail sets this guitar apart.
Some of the more distinctive specifications include, the headstock shape, tuners, neck and fretboard, bridge, and pickups and electronics. The headstock shape is based on PRS’s trademark design, but inverted to both accommodate Mayer’s playing style and also to keep a consistent length of string behind the nut, which makes staying in tune easier. The tuners are a traditional vintage-style, closed-back tuner, but with PRS’s locking design. The neck shape was modeled after 1963/1964 vintage instruments, and the fretboard has a 7.25” radius. The moment your hand grabs this neck, it just feels right. Like the tuners, the steel tremolo takes a classic design and incorporates PRS’s trem arm and Gen III knife-edge screws. The bridge on the Silver Sky is setup flush to the body in the neutral position so that the tremolo bridge only goes down in pitch. By keeping the bridge in contact with the body, the guitar itself is acoustically louder, which improves the signal to noise ratio of the single-coil pickups. The 635JM single-coil pickups are very round and full, with a musical high end that is never “ice-picky” or brash.
Other high-quality specifications include a bone nut, a molded metal jack plate that is curved and makes plugging and unplugging a guitar cable hassle-free, retooled knobs, fretwire that is slightly smaller than what you’d find on most PRS electric guitars, and PRS’s double action truss rod (accessible from the front of the headstock for ease of use).

  8. Paul Reed Smith SE Paul's Guitar - Aqua #7572
    $999.00

"The SE Paul’s Guitar is a great example of design, engineering, and teamwork. It’s as close to home as we could get inside of the SE Series, and I am very proud of it," Paul Reed Smith.
The SE Paul's Guitar delivers a lot of "PRS," starting with tone and versatility. The TCI "S" treble and bass pickups deliver a very pure, vintage sound. The SE Paul's Guitar also features two mini-toggle switches between the volume and tone knobs. This setup allows players to put either or both pickups in true single coil mode, which delivers the clarity and uniqueness of vintage single-coil tones in both single coil and humbucking positions. This is the first model to offer this style of electronics outside of the Private Stock and Core lines.
"The Paul's Guitar, like the Modern Eagle before it, has always been about Paul's latest discoveries in guitar making. To bring this guitar into the SE Series, we knew the tone, functionality, and playability had to be right and had to be consistent," said Jack Higginbotham, COO, PRS Guitars. "We feel this guitar offers a lot of value to players."

    $1,995.00

Please note, we no longer ship vintage amps. They are local pickup only. Give the store a call for more information 901-729-2466.

I love this amp. You know why? It sounds incredible. It's easily one of the best amps Fender has ever produced, with a reputation that is well earned. Here we have a 1994 Custom Shop Fender Vibro King. Hand wired in the USA. From the first year of production with an early serial number, #0144. The Bruce Zinky-designed circuit wasn’t a reissue of a classic Fender tone machine, but rather a re-imagining of what a Fender amp could be using key elements of older amps. After its introduction this amp found favor among some very high-profile players. Pete Townshend used them as the foundation for his stage tone. Also Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood, Tom Petty, and blues wunderkind Gary Clark Jr. You can cover everything from raging Dick Dale-style surf runs and Bakersfield twang, to higher gain tones. It is blonde tolex with an oxblood color grill cloth. It has three original 10" speakers, and foot switch. It's 60 watts powered by 2 6L6 power tubes which is plenty loud for any gig! Uses an EL84 tube for reverb. The condition is very clean and nice. It works perfectly, and of course like we mentioned before, it sounds incredible.

  12. Marshall Class 5 combo w/Psionic Audio "True Plexi" Mods - Power Scaling
    $495.00

This is a Marshall Class 5 combo w/Psionic Audio "True Plexi" Mods and Variable Voltage Circuit power scaling. Lyle Caldwell at Psionic Audio is our shop amp guru. He's well known as the master modder of Class 5 amps. This amp has his famous "True Plexi" mods, as well as the "Variable Voltage Circuit"; Lyle's take on power scaling. These mods cost $350 when the work was done. It works perfectly and sounds amazing. It's the perfect grab and go amp for small gigs, practice room, and recording.

Here's a summary of the switch functions:
    1) Bright affects both the amount of treble and bass on the High Treble "channel." Left is warmer with more lows, right is brighter with fewer lows.
    2) Channel is a three way switch. Left is the "Normal" channel, right is the "High Treble" channel, and middle is both channels "jumpered."
    3) JTM/JMP: Left (JTM): both channels share a cathode circuit (more bass for the High Treble channel) and there is no bypass cap across V2a's cathode resistor, for slightly lower overall gain without as much emphasis over 700Hz).
Right (JMP): each channel has its own cathode, with the High Treble having fewer lows, and the bypass cap is on V2a's cathode, for an overall gain increase with more emphasis over 700H"

Also includes Variable Voltage control, so you can control the overall output even when you crank the main volume control.

The speaker was also upgraded with a 30 watt 10" Weber Legacy Series - a $107 value.
