  6. Collings OM2H T Traditional Series Torrefied #26175
    $4,725.00

Tradition is a wonderful thing, because a traditional instrument has stood the test of time.  It does the job, and it does it well, that's the reason it became a tradition.  It works and works well.  Collings has combined traditional guitar design with superb workmanship and created a new standard in OM Guitars, the Collings OM2H-T.  All the guys here at the shop are blown away by this guitar, it's the new favorite.  I love the case, it was made by Collings and is like the early Martin cases from the thirties.  The top has been upgraded with the torrefied, "Aged", option which takes an already great guitar and makes it even better.

  7. HOLD - Collings OM2H Cutaway - 1 3/4" Nut - Adirondack Braces #5115
    $4,320.00

This OM2H has been upgraded with a 1 3/4" Nut, Adirondack Braces, and Cutaway.

'OM' stands for "Orchestra Model," but 80 years after this body shape was first designed it has become the most popular 14-fret model with fingerstyle guitar soloists who choose to play on steel strings. Yet flatpickers also find it appealing. The compact shape makes the Collings OM equally easy to handle onstage or when sitting on the couch. The relatively shallow body (barely over 4 inches deep) results in balanced tone and an immediate response.

  9. Collings D2H - Adirondack Top - Wenge Back & Sides #23118
    $4,995.00

Featuring an Adirondack Spruce Top, with Wenge back and sides.

The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is certainly not the only company to build them, they bring a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar. Although its bass response makes the dreadnought ideal for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are also often employed by bluegrass flatpickers who must compete with inherently louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles.

  12. Collings CJ35 - Sitka Spruce/Mahogany - Sunburst #2232
    $4,320.00

The pre-war era of American flattop guitar making has come to be known as "golden" for a reason. Lauded for its short but brilliant periods of construction innovation, the years from 1930-1942 were filled with new instrument runs that featured bracing, fret access and body dimension changes that would define the features and sounds of the modern acoustic guitar. Emerging out of a fascination with this era of guitar making history, Collings is proud to introduce the CJ35. With a mahogany back and slope-shouldered body, this new variation of their CJ model incorporates a non-scalloped bracing configuration featuring three tone bars and a short 24 7/8" scale length. This new design provides the CJ35 with a beautiful balance of deep piano-like bass and powerful full-bodied highs, complimented by a focused dynamic range for exceptionally even note projection. As a result, the CJ35 is one of our most versatile large-bodied guitars, well suited to both fingerstyle and strumming techniques.
