  2. USED 2014 Gibson ES-Les Paul Light Burst
    $1,798.00

I was a vintage guitar snob for years. The level of my arrogance was stupefying. I would say things like, "I won't play any guitar made after 1961." I have calmed down considerably in my old age. I like a lot of new stuff now, as well as guitars like this semi-hollow Les Paul which is actually a really, really good idea. Such a good idea that I'm surprised it took Gibson so long to come out with it. We have a 2014 Gibson ES-Les Paul that is a fantastic guitar. The first thing you notice is the top, which is nicely figured flame maple. It is really striking. The top is a Light Burst finish. It's lightweight but still has the great "Les Paul" tone. It is very clean, showing the barest hint of wear. The frets are perfect, it plays and sounds great. Comes with Gibson hard case.

  5. Paul Stevens Wide Range Humbucker Thinline Tele Great Britain Luthier
    $1,000.00

This is a relatively new guitar, but it's loaded with history. Here we have a 2016 Paul Stevens Guitars Thinline Tele. This fine, hand built guitar was made by English luthier, Paul Stevens in England. The body is made from 150 year old pine salvaged from a house in South London. It has a highly figured Redwood top that is gorgeous. So good looking, that Stevens currently has it featured on the front page of his website.  Inlaid on the back of the headstock is a Victorian era sixpence. So, already we got history and mojo. The neck is maple, and was hand shaped by Paul. It has a Fender Wide Range humbucker in the neck position and a Bare Knuckle Yardbird single coil bridge pickup. This is a great guitar, made by an up and coming maker, very unique and cool. It plays perfectly, and sounds great. I think Keith Richards would love this guitar. The wood on the back and top has all the natural worm holes and knots, it so adds to the vibe. Comes with Hiscox hard case. New this guitar would be more than £2000 UK pounds (the equivalent of $2700 US dollars). Nice and light weight too at a mere 6 pounds 10 ounces. Grab this special guitar at a hell of a deal.

  6. USED LsL T-Bone Swamp Ash Butterscotch Blonde
    $1,700.00

This LsL T Bone T-Bone Model is a modern rendition of one of the best '50's or '60's T-style guitars you will ever play. This is not a partscaster guitar like many in its price range. The T-Bone features a swamp ash body, fuller 50's style profile maple neck, and LSL custom-wound pickups. The metal parts, hardware and fretboards are manually aged to create a near-authentic, played (but not beaten) appearance. The thinnest possible nitrocellulose lacquer finish is applied and then weather checked. This contributes to a very airy, open, articulate tone that is then enhanced by LsL's hand-wound pickups. Played acoustically, this guitar is extremely loud and resonant...that's always the sign of a superior instrument. The neck is straight and true. The frets are in perfect condition. It's ready to take directly to your gig right now. It sounds great, plays great, and feels great. It is as close as you can get to achieving the tone, playability, look, and feel of a great vintage guitar.

  7. USED 2007 PRS McCarty Korina RARE one-of-a-kind Ocean Turquoise
    $1,895.00

"Korina, Korina won't you please come home." You like Korina? We got Korina for you. This PRS McCarty Korina model was made in 2007. It's a One Off, a one of a kind guitar that has some really cool and unique specs. The custom color, Ocean Turquoise, is not the only feature that sets this guitar apart as a one-off. When the body is one piece of wood without a maple top PRS typically paints the whole body, and does not have scraped binding. This solid Korina body does have the scraped binding, that's not only very cool, it looks fantastic next to the natural Korina wood. It also has a matching headstock (I'm a total sucker for matching headstocks), and to make it just a little bit cooler, it has a Korina truss rod cover. A Korina truss rod cover, how cool is that? The guitar was sent back to PRS and their PTC crew upgraded the pickups to 59/09's with brushed nickel covers. We no longer have the original pickups. Collector owned, it is in mint condition showing absolutely zero wear. No scuff, dings, or scratches. The frets are perfect, unplayed. The neck is straight and true. It feels great, plays great, sounds great, and looks so so cool. Comes with original hardshell case. If you like cool and special guitars, grab this one, you'll never find another like it..

Here's a PRS Starla. Made in 2008, the first year of production for the Starla. This is an original core model (not the current S2 model), that is all USA made, with all USA made components. The S2 version has an American made body and neck, with imported tuners, pickups, and bridge. Collector owned, it is in near mint condition showing only a few slight pick marks on the pickguard and a single scratch on the back. Black finish, Mahogany body, glued-in mahogany neck, with Indian rosewood fingerboard. Bigsby vibrato. The neck is straight and true. Frets are in perfect, unplayed condition. 9. USED 2013 Fender American Strat Deluxe Plus Mystic Ice Blue
    $1,000.00

Was it Lloyd Price that had that great song, "Personality"? I think it was. Now, of course, all guitars should have personality. I mean, what kind of world would this be with guitars that have no personality? I shudder to think. Now this guitar has personality out the ying yang. Here we have a 2013 Fender American Deluxe Strat Plus with an unusual feature: a built-in feature that allows you to change tone, pickup selection, basically rewire your guitar by changing "PERSONALITY" cards. It's easy to do. They fit in a cavity on the back. It's nice and quick, and it is really cool. The finish is an mystic ice blue metallic, maple fingerboard, three ply mint green pickguard and backplate that still has the protective plastic coating. The guitar is unplayed. It could easily pass for brand new. It sounds great. With the "Personality" cards, you have unbelievable options regarding tone. Comes with three cards (the Standard one is inside the guitar, Cutter, and Blender are included inside the case), trem bar, original case, strap, and case candy.

  10. USED 1963 Gretsch 6070 Country Gentleman Hollowbody Bass
    $1,799.00

Here's a super cool bass that you don't see very often. We have a 1963 Gretsch 6070 Country Gentleman hollow body bass. Featues one single Gretsch Supertron pickup. This is a great sounding bass, perfect for blues, jump blues, jazz, rock, anything you want. The neck feel has a similar profile to an upright bass: BIG and full, and it has that upright bass thump too, even when it's plugged in. Just so cool. Now the downside: it has the typical vintage Gretsch binding issues, which means it's going brittle and crumbling. The previous owner says the binding hasn't changed in the last 20 years, and it does appear to be stable. If it were mine, I would leave the binding alone. It certainly doesn't affect the sound or playability. The finish is original...everything is original for that matter. We are selling it as-is regarding cosmetic issues, but we guarantee that the bass works and plays fine. The frets are in good shape. This bass has had flatwound strings on it its entire life, so the fingerboard is in fine shape. The bass player for the Sons Of Champlin played a bass just like this at the Human Be In in San Francisco, so there's that. There is no case and no stand post.
