  7. USED 2014 Collings D1 VN Vintage Now Neck - Rare Walnut Back & Sides
    $3,495.00

Here's a used Collings D1 VN. Made in 2014. This one was custom ordered with a few special upgrades - Walnut back and sides, Vintage Now neck profile and 2 5/16" bridge string spacing, tortoise fingerboard and pegged binding. Cool and rare options for a D1. The ultimate late 30's style Martin D-18 style guitar. This is a classic square-shouldered dreadnout acoustic, the Sitka Spruce and Walnut combination provides a unique combination of power and tonal complexity. Walnut yields an excellent balance with tonal characteristics that fall between Indian rosewood and mahogany, giving you the best of both worlds. The Sitka Spruce with Collings' Pre-war scalloped X-brcing provide tremendous volume and power. This guitar has all the clarity, sparkle, and distinction one could need to cut through in an ensemble situation. In excellent condition showing only the slightest amount of play. The neck is straight and true. The frets are in perfect condition. Comes with the original Collings hardshell case. This is a great playing and gorgeous sounding instrument all-around, in any playing environment.
The Collings "Vintage Now" neck profile has slightly wider spacing at the saddle (2 5/16") with 1 3/4" at the nut. This neck is slightly larger than a standard (non-vintage) profile, but is not quite as large as some of the chunkiest vintage Martin necks. This neck has more of a vintage feel, but is more palatable than a standard Vintage neck to a lot of players. The neck shape is slightly rounder (less V) in the lower position and moves towards a modified V shape as you go up the neck. The neck depth (including the fingerboard) is typically .845" at the 1st fret and .960" at the 9th fret. The fingerboard width measures 2.195" at the 12th fret.

  8. Paul Reed Smith Special 22 Semi-Hollow Limited Edition Artist Package Blue Fade
    $5,400.00

This Special Semi-Hollow Limited Edition has been upgraded with the Artist Package in a Blue Fade finish, giving you a spectacular Artist Grade flamed maple top (the next step up from a 10 top with greater depth of curl), ebony fingerboard, Paua shell bird and headstock signature inlays, hybrid hardware, and a special finish not offered on PRS's standard core series. Nice enhanced options, but without having to go all the way to a Private Stock model.
The PRS Special Semi-Hollow Limited Edition guitar offers players a versatile hum/single/hum configuration with two PRS 58/15 MT (Multi-Tap) humbuckers and a PRS Narrowfield middle pickup. The 58/15 MT’s offer all the tone of the originals while compensating for volume loss when split to single coils. The Narrowfield pickup delivers the bite of a single coil – without the hum but with plenty of clarity and punch. Paired with a 5-Way blade switch and two mini-toggles that tap the hum- buckers, this guitar can handle myriad sounds and styles, and the semi-hollow body with single f-hole provides a welcome airiness and depth to the guitar’s tone.
The foundation of this guitar is very much like a Custom 22 – maple top, mahogany back, 22-fret 25” scale length mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, Phase III tuners, and PRS Gen III patented tremolo – but the versatile electronics truly carry it to new sonic territory

  11. Taylor 414ce - V-Class Bracing - Sitka/Ovangkol #9036
    $2,399.00

Taylor's cutaway acoustic/electric Grand Auditorium 414ce has long been a staple of gigging and recreational players thanks to its musical versatility and clean, workmanlike aesthetic. Crafted with back and sides of solid African ovangkol and a solid Sitka spruce top, the 414ce now also features our V-Class bracing, a game-changing sonic engine that powers these tonewoods to produce more volume, longer sustain, and stronger projection. The more orderly movement of the top, courtesy of the new bracing design, also improves the intonation up and down the neck, making chords sing like never before, without sour notes or the “rub” of slight dissonance within certain chords. The difference comes through loud and clear, whether you’re on the couch, recording into a mic, or plugged in at a gig. The ovangkol/Sitka pairing yields a mix of powerful midrange frequencies, strong, clear treble notes, and deep yet balanced lows, and together with V-Class, make this a superb all-around guitar. Fingerpickers, flatpickers and strummers each will find something to love here. Appointments include crisp white binding, Diamond fretboard/peghead inlays in Italian acrylic, and proprietary ES2 electronics. The guitar ships in a deluxe hardshell case.

  12. Taylor Grand Pacific 717e Builder's Edition - Torrefied Sitka/Indian Rosewood - Wild Honey Burst #9120
    $3,199.00

A Wild Honey Burst top and low-sheen finish heighten the old-soul aesthetic appeal of this Builder’s Edition Grand Pacific, which builds on a long tradition of rosewood/spruce dreadnoughts but breaks new ground with an entirely new Taylor sound. The round-shoulder dreadnought shape, featuring Taylor’s award-winning V-Class bracing, produces warm, seasoned acoustic tone in which individual notes overlap and blend smoothly together, while the low-end power common among dreadnoughts boasts greater clarity here. V-Class brings extra punch and sustain, along with improved intonation and musicality across the entire frequency spectrum. Together with rosewood’s harmonic complexity and the played-in sound of the torrefied spruce top, players can expect rich, luxurious tonal character from top to bottom. It’s a voice comfortably rooted in a traditional sound, yet updated to offer more expressive musical range. As a Builder’s Edition model, the 717 also sports an array of premium, player-friendly features: chamfered body edges, rolled fretboard edges, and a new compound-carve neck profile, whose contours match the natural adjustments in the player’s hand position when moving up and down the fretboard. Even the bridge design was refined to add a more ergonomic feel for the player’s pick hand. Elegantly understated appointments include mother-of-pearl Arrowhead fretboard and peghead inlays, with sapele binding. It all adds up to a Taylor like you’ve never seen, heard or felt before.
