Limited to just 280 pieces worldwide, this special edition features PRS’s McCarty III treble and bass pickups with a proprietary PRS Narrowfield in the center position along with an artist grade figured maple top, black limba back and neck, and Honduran rosewood fretboard and headstock veneer.

The Custom 24-08 keeps many of the foundational specs as the original Custom, but adds a new level of versatility with its TCI pickups and EQ mini-toggle switches. This limited-edition instrument also features a semi-hollow body, ziricote fretboard and headstock veneer, Pattern Thin neck carve, and special inlay package.

Outside of these aesthetic attributes, the 40th Anniversary Custom 24 is looking ahead with its all-new PRS DMO Treble and Bass pickups. The Custom 24-08 keeps many of the foundational specs as the original Custom – maple top, mahogany back and neck, 24 frets, 25" scale length, the PRS patented Gen III tremolo – but adds a new level of versatility with its TCI pickups and intuitive switching system.
