We just took in two absolutely incredible Fender Showman rigs on consignment, and this one - a 1962 Fender Showman with its matching blonde cabinet, factory-loaded JBL speaker, and original accessories. Finds like this simply don’t happen very often.
This Showman was originally purchased new by one of two brothers and somehow preserved in remarkably clean, near mint condition. It’s hard to overstate just how untouched these amps are - most vintage Fenders show decades of wear, repairs, and parts swaps. This one has been carefully stored its entire life.The Details

This amp was inspected by respected local tube amp technician Robert Hinson, who confirmed it remains 100% original. He slowly brought the amp up to power on a variac, and it performs exactly as it should—powerful, clear, and articulate, with the unmistakable authority that made the Showman a favorite of surf, country, and early rock players.
For collectors, this is an outstanding opportunity to own a completely unmolested early-’60s Showman. For players, we recommend replacing the filter caps if the amp will see regular use, while retaining all original components to preserve originality.
