With a slightly streamlined body shape for improved comfort and balance. The LB-100 also brought the G&L Saddle Lock bridge for richer note definition and sustain. The Alnico V pickups are wound in-house at G&L. Playability is enhanced with Plek fret processing as well, making this LB-100 the best yet. In the late 1970s, Clarence Leo Fender was looking forward to launching his new G&L brand featuring his latest innovations including Magnetic Field Design pickups and the Saddle Lock bridge.
