  1. Vintage Mid-60's Hagstrom ll Guitar
    $550.00

This guitar has has opened the floodgates of my ancient memory. Everybody in Memphis in the mid sixties played Hagstroms. They were everywhere. A Hagstrom, maybe a Gibson amp, you were good to go. They played well, sounded good, were relatively inexpensive...what's not to like? We have a mid sixties Hagstrom ll serial number, 653891. The body was refinished white many years ago. It's a good finish, looks cool and vintage. The neck has the original finish. The hardware, pickups and electronics are all original. We don't have the vibrato arm. Comes in a vintage Fender Mustang case. Only one of the latches works, but it fits fine. It's just a cool-sounding, affordable vintage guitar.

    $3,500.00

We have one fine, super fine, guitar for you today. Oh, I should mention before I delve into this, that I saw Steve Earle a couple of weeks ago. Steve's guitar player played a guitar exactly like this, a Collings CL Deluxe! I was blown away by it. Now we have one in the shop. Life can be so sweet sometimes. This is a 2007 model, with a Brazilian Rosewood finger board (Collings no longer offers this), and a spectacular flame maple top. The pickups are Lollars, the finish is Amber Sunburst. This is Colling's top of the line solid-body guitar. A work of art by a master builder. The knobs and pickup rings are ivoroid; very classy looking. 5. Vintage 1971 Marshall 1959 Super Lead 100 Head & matching 4x12 cab
    $3,750.00

Amazing sounding vintage Marshall Super Lead 100 head and matching 4x12 cabinet. Both made in 1971. This was previously owned by the guitarist from the legendary Memphis band, Target. Target had a large Mid-South regional fan base in the early 1970's and opened for Black Sabbath, Boston, and Kiss. Their lead singer, Jimi Jamison, went on to become the front man for Survivor and sang on a bunch of their hits; "I Can't Hold Back", High On You", "The Search Is Over", and "Burning Heart".

The amp has been completely gone through and serviced: new F&T filter caps installed; three new Tung-Sol 12AX7 preamp tubes; new EL-34 power tubes; cleaned contact points to ensure good grounds; preamp circuit returned to '71 circuit; replaced output sockets with Beltons; new Carling switches installed; output transformer transformer wire splices redone to NASA standards, insulated, and secured beneath board; new grounded cable installed, fuse wire to code, unnecessary polarity circuit removed; 3000V diodes to prevent flyback damage; 1R resistors for checking individual output current draw (Yes, I know this is not how Marshall did it originally. This is better); Output jacks put back in, but new wire (The old thin stuff was bent and slightly corroded...not something I'd trust this output transformer to); all new 18AWG buss wire with good solder joints.

The matching 4x12 cabinet has the original greenback Celestion G-12M 25 watt speakers.

  6. Suhr Custom Modern - Silver Drip - Left-Handed #1996
    $4,780.00

Sometimes things just don't work out. A customer ordered this guitar from Suhr to his exact specs. Very cool specs, but unfortunately was unable to complete the transaction. Let his loss be your gain. What we have is a new Suhr Modern left-handed. It is set up from Suhr for right-handed playing, because that is how this guy learned to play. It is a left-handed guitar though, and could be strung as a left-handed guitar by simply swapping out the Floyd nut. I'm right-handed and I would play this guitar because I think guitars look really cool upside down. It's also a flat-out incredible guitar, and sounds amazing.
It's got a roasted Alder body, roasted Maple neck and fingerboard, 10-14" compound radius, Modern Elliptical neck carve (.800-.850), jumbo stainless steel frets, Suhr SSV pickup in the neck, SSH Plus in the bridge, Floyd Rose tremelo, locking nut, five way switch, and push-pull parallel pot for the bridge pickup.
It's brand new, never been sold, comes with full warranty, hard-case, and is ready to go.

The retail price for this guitar is $4780. Please call us directly for extra special pricing.

  7. Taylor GS Mini-e Bass #7215
    $699.00

Thanks to breakthrough Taylor design, the GS Mini Bass offers players a remarkably inviting small-scale acoustic bass that’s compact, lightweight and ultra-comfortable on the hands. Adding to the popular heritage of our GS Mini family, this four-string bass sibling is even more impressive for its ability to create natural-sounding bass notes despite a condensed 23-1/2-inch scale length — about 10 inches shorter than the scale length of a standard bass guitar. Part of the magic is the custom nylon-core strings (with phosphor bronze wrap wire) developed with our friends at D’Addario exclusively for the bass (in fact, no other strings will work on it). Together with our patented dual-prong bridge pin design, the bass not only sounds great but also yields a slinky feel. And with the condensed fret spacing, playing bass is now physically easier on anyone’s hands, from kids to bass newbies to seasoned bass players craving a couch-friendly option. It’s an inspiring tool to have on hand for writing, recording demos, and jamming with friends. The bass comes equipped with our ES-B onboard electronics, along with a hard bag featuring adjustable backpack straps for easy portability.

  8. Taylor 314ce LTD - Lutz Spruce/Tasmanian Blackwood #7071
    $1,999.00

Tasmanian blackwood continues to grow in popularity as more players discover its musical strengths: strong projection, a warm and focused midrange, and top-end sparkle. Normally we pair blackwood back and sides with a mahogany top within our 300 Series, but for this limited edition cutaway Grand Auditorium, we've swapped mahogany for Lutz spruce, whose properties lend a dynamic boost to the overall acoustic output. Together, the woods find a musical sweet spot in the middle of the tonal spectrum, which gives the guitar an especially lively and engaging personality. Featured appointments include faux tortoise shell for the binding, rosette and pickguard, the return of our “Twisted Ovals” fretboard inlay scheme, and vibrant abalone-dotted bridge pins that add a pop of color against the ebony bridge. The guitar comes equipped with our clear-sounding ES2 acoustic electronics and ships in a Taylor deluxe hardshell case.

    $2,841.00 Click for price

What could be cooler than a 70's Fender Jazz Bass?  How about a brand new, G&L JB?  This is so cool, a maple neck with a black, block markers, sunburst finish, two G&L JB Alinico 5 single coil pickups.  The neck is hard rock maple, the body is alder, it is 1 1/2'' at the nut.  If you like seventies funk, you'll be over the moon for this.  The Brothers Johnson wish they had this bass.  I've dealt vintage guitars for many years and this is better than any 70's vintage Jazz Bass I ever had.  I don't want offend any owners of 70's Fender's, I LOVE them, but this is lighter, and honestly, better made.  Hey, don't take my word for it. Try it, you'll love it.  Comes with hard case.

  12. PAUL REED SMITH MCCARTY 594 - BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD FINGERBOARD - McCarty Tobacco Sunburst #1850
    $3,685.00

This McCarty 594 features Brazilian rosewood fingerboard. This feature is usually only available on Artist Package models, but is available here for a very limited time.

The McCarty 594 is a vintage-inspired instrument that is at once incredibly familiar and effortlessly playable. Whether you are looking for rich, authentic, vintage humbucking tones or nuanced, sweet single-coil sounds, the McCarty 594 can seamlessly master both sonic territories thanks to the 58/15 LT pickups and push/pull coil taps on the tone controls. The electronics layout, a few key specifications, and PRS craftsmanship combine in the McCarty 594 to create an instrument that plays in tune, is intonated the entire length of the neck, and feels like a guitar that you’ve been playing forever.

"The 594 is the best new guitar I've played in years. It has a vintage heart and soul but without the technical limitations that usually come along with an old instrument. What good is an old guitar if you can't get all that feel out of the upper frets, or the intonation is off? To hear that old PAF sound but be able to articulate the notes in a way that only modern manufacturing could allow is so exciting." – John Mayer
