The Emperor Standard features a premium, hand-selected Alder body, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, 3-piece Hard Rock Maple neck, and angled-back headstock. The Emperor Standard Guitar comes with a custom set of Seymour Duncan Single-Coil pickups providing the authentic chime, sparkle, and feel that only vintage single coil pickups deliver. Unique to the Emperor Standard Guitar is a pickup configuration that allows for a wider variety of tonal options compared to traditional single-coil-style instruments. In addition to the traditional 5-way pickup selector, a bridge pickup switch has been provided to allow the bridge pickup to be engaged with any pickup selector position.

    Here's a rare St. Blues Blues King model four string bass. Serial number 01005. This bass was built in Memphis, TN by Tom (TK) Keckler at the Strings & Things guitar shop in 1985 with parts purchased from Hisatake Shibuya in Tokyo, Japan. Shibuya was the founder of ESP Guitars. At this time a few other manufacturers used ESP for OEM instrument bodies and necks such as Kramer Guitars, Schecter Guitar Research, Robin Guitars, and Dimarzio. The Blues King model was based off a modified Fender Telecaster design and available in both guitar and bass versions. They are sought after by collectors and considered of very high quality. It features a mahogany body with bound top, maple neck with Indian Rosewood fingerboard, active EMG pickups, black hardware, and black finish.
