This beautifully aged classical guitar is from master luthier Jeronimo Peña Fernadez. Hand-dated in the soundhole at 1973. Featuring a solid Red Cedar top and quatersawn Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, the renowned warmth and balance of this instrument's tone is hard to overstate. This instrument was made at a time when Jerinimo Peña Fernandez was producing between 20 and 25 guitars a year in his workshop. The highly stylized guitars of Fernandez are perhaps most immediately identifiable for their intricate design details and overall original style. He learned this in the course of an apprenticeship in carpentry that began when he was only nine.

Another spectacular instrument from Dana Bourgeois. This custom ordered Bourgeois was built in 2018. This guitar sounds like a cannon, and has opened up beautifully. The tone of this Honduran Rosewood is extremely similar to Brazilian Rosewood. Nice, strong bass fundamental, great projection, extremely loud and punchy. It's an "all-day-every-day" dreadnought acoustic. You'll never want to put it down. Thanks to the magic of the Adirondack spruce top you get huge low end, crisp and bright high end with lots of punch, and tone and volume that does not break down. No matter how hard you strike this instrument, it just gets louder and never gives out. This guitar has overtones for days with plenty of cut and articulation for serious flatpicking. An LR Baggs Anthem has been installed (a $329 value) and works perfectly. It is without a doubt a guitar of a lifetime!

  Here's a Taylor 614 model that was built in 2018. This guitar was special ordered without the cutaway (you don't see non-cutaway versions often) or electronics. It has no issues, no repairs. Collector owned, it has been lovingly taken care of and is in excellent, near mint condition. Description: All solid wood, Torrefied Sitka Spruce top, V-Class bracing, Maple back, and sides with Brown Sugar stain. Tropical mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard. With Canadian animals inlaid across the fretboard and Manzer's trademark wood-and-Abalone rosette, it makes the business of making music even more enjoyable. For the back and sides, Linda used some of the finest Indian Rosewood we've ever seen, bent into her tradmarked Manzer Wedge shape for playing comfort, and paired it with a German Spruce top that has striking contrasts of color across its medullary rays. As you'd expect, the resulting voice is equally at home with a delicate attack or played with gusto, offering a well-balanced tone in all applications that is chock full of delightful overtones and articulate warmth.

Here's a cool guitar. A really cool guitar. A true one of a kind. We are offering a 1981 Mossman Guitar Golden Era model custom made for Bob Shane by Stuart Mossman to commemorate 25 years of the The Kingston Trio. This guitar was a collaborative effort between Bob and Stuart Mossman. Bob personally selected the Brazilian rosewood and spruce top from Mossman's private stash, (Remember the word "stash"...you'll understand in a minute). Bob played this guitar for three years on the road before he retired it. Kingston Trio was the the preeminent folk band in the early sixties and spearheaded the massive, folk boom. These guys are the Beatles of folk music. This is a fantastic guitar and a great piece of American music history.
