The CE 24 pairs PRS's traditional body combination of the mahogany back and maple top with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The neck sports a Pattern Thin carve and satin nitro finish for a natural, addictive feel. To further maximize the guitar's inherent tone and clarity, the CE 24 features PRS 85/15 pickups, which Paul designed to have remarkable clarity as well as extended high and low end. The Horizon Custom ’87 takes the amazing archtop body of the ESP Horizon, and offers it exactly as you’d have found it in the late ‘80s and early ‘90s… minimally adorned and built to shred! This guitar offers neck-thru-body construction at 25.5” scale for intense sustain, pairing an alder body and an extra-thin three-piece maple neck. The Horizon Custom ’87 features a Macassar ebony fingerboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets and no inlays; side position dots help you find your way. Its components include a Floyd Rose 1000 double-locking tremolo, a Seymour Duncan TB-5 Custom Trembucker in the bridge, and a Seymour Duncan Hot Rails in the neck position. Coil spitting for single-coil tones on either or both pickups is available via push-pull controls on the volume and tone knobs.

  At the heart of every instrument is its tone: in this case, a new modern 2 Band EQ preamp was designed by Darkglass specifically for the DarkRay. This preamp offers three modes with very distinct and useful sounds: Clean, Alpha (distortion), and Omega (fuzz). Both distortion circuits are fully mixable via an onboard gain knob and blend control manipulated to the user's preference. Astonishing clean, slight gain, or a brutal fuzz tone is obtainable, all with no low-end loss. A bright LED ring and the 3-way lever switch indicates which mode the bass is in.
  The all-new DarkRay is every bit a Stingray Special with neodymium humbucking pickup, roasted maple neck, comfort contoured body, 22 stainless steel frets, and the familiar 3+1 headstock configuration.

  Here's a very nice Taylor 314-CE acoustic electric. USA made in 2013. Professional grade instrument with all solid wood construction. It's a 6 string grand auditorium size with Sitka Spruce top, sapele back and sides, soft (Venetian) cutaway, 1 3/4" nut width, black binding, wood fiber rosette, pearl dot inlay on fretboard, mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard, ebony bridge, Taylor Expression pickup system, 25 1/2" scale, and satin finished body with gloss top.
  This one has grown sweetly mellow over the years and has great balance with great dynamic range. Overall the guitar is appears very clean with some light surface scratches and dings on the top back and sides. The neck is straight and true. Frets show some slight impressions here and there under the B and high-E strings. Nothing that affects playability. The frets should have years of play left in them. Comes with Taylor hardshell case.
