  The PRS SE DGT (David Grissom Trem) brings David Grissom’s signature model to the SE Series for the first time. Based on the McCarty platform, the DGT model has been a constant favorite since its introduction in 2007, thanks to Grissom’s deep knowledge of vintage guitars and his painstaking attention to detail. Every feature on the SE DGT has been considered from the neck shape to the fret choice and dressing, from the colors to the pickups and electronics layout.

  This Custom Build Banjo Killer is a standard square shouldered dreadnought with a premium bearclaw Sitka spruce top and figured mahogany back and sides. Square headstock shape. The bracing for this guitar is modeled after Bryan Sutton’s famous Bourgeois dubbed the “Banjo Killer". The fingerboard and belly bridge are figured ziricote wood. The Tor-tis pickguard is handmade, and the bridge pins are ebony with abalone dots. The tuners are Nickel Waverly with ivoroid buttons.

We've enhanced the vintage character of the slightly darkened top with a subtle shaded edgeburst around the body and neck, while a firestripe faux-tortoiseshell pickguard adds a bold visual touch. Other aesthetic details include gold tuners and ebony bridge pins with gold acrylic dots. Like all 50th Anniversary Collection models, it features a celebratory limited-edition label, and production will be limited to 1,974 guitars worldwide. This model includes ES2 electronics and a hardshell case.
