  Goncalo Alves, commonly known as Tigerwood, is an incredibly distinctive lumber species. Its golden-brown to deep red-brown hues are interspersed with blackish-brown streaks, creating the tiger-like streaks that give it its name.

Featuring a Thermo-Cured Adirondack Spruce top. The Orchestra name was given to this model in 1929 in an attempt to entice guitarists in dance orchestras to pick one up and take it to a gig.
