This beautifully aged classical guitar is from master luthier Jeronimo Peña Fernadez. Hand-dated in the soundhole at 1973. Featuring a solid Red Cedar top and quatersawn Brazilian Rosewood back and sides, the renowned warmth and balance of this instrument's tone is hard to overstate. This instrument was made at a time when Jerinimo Peña Fernandez was producing between 20 and 25 guitars a year in his workshop. He learned this in the course of an apprenticeship in carpentry that began when he was only nine.
