  The Goodall Grand Concert might be one of the world's most perfect guitars. With its refined and beautifully proportioned shape, it is everything you could desire from an acoustic guitar and more. It's tone is a wonderful blend of balanced clarity, and punchy projection, with a smooth rich bass response. This instrument is larger than the Parlor but smaller than the Concert Jumbo. It has a singing lyrical treble, with excellent sustain, and is comfortable to hold. Though it is a small guitar, the Grand Concert does not exhibit the tight nasal tonal quality in the midrange and bass that is generally associated with smaller guitars.
  While the Grand Concert series is considered ideal for the fingerstylist due to its sensitive, dynamic responsiveness, it is equally appropriate for the flatpicker or plectrum player with the appropriate tonewood combination. The Orchestra Model is a greatly favored shape amongst Goodall's Traditional lineup. It features a smaller, more comfortable to hold body size than the popular dreadnought body shape. Its tone is extremely powerful in the bass and midrange, with an emphasis on a broad warmth without lacking treble. All of Goodall's Traditional series models features a custom, partially scalloped bracing pattern which produces a bit more 'boominess' in the bass and midrange. The peghead and bridge have been redesigned for a more conservative visual appeal, with open gear Waverly tuning machines contributing to its charm. It is attractively arrayed with a herringbone marquetry rosette and top purfling, and a chevron marquetry backstrip. It has been designed especially with the flatpicker and the bluegrass player in mind.

Offering a warmer character than most maple guitars thanks to voicing touches developed by master guitar designer Andy Powers, the 614ce Special Edition responds differently to each player’s individual technique and style, letting musicians create a signature sound that’s all their own. For this release, we’ve opted for appointments that highlight the bold color palette, including white binding, a single-ring rosette in green abalone, Twisted Ovals fretboard inlays in Italian acrylic, gold tuning machines, ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots, and a full-body gloss finish. Each model includes built-in ES2 electronics for clean amplified acoustic sound and a deluxe hardshell case for protection.
