If the traditional double-cutaway bolt-on guitar is your standard, then the G&L Fullerton Deluxe Legacy is probably your best bet. It is the culmination of years of research and application from Paul Gagon, the G&L VP Engineering. Their vintage-spec CLF-100 Alnico single coils were developed directly from original Leo Fender prints, and successfully and impeccably capture that sparkle and spank of late 50s single coils. Coupling with the vintage tones is modern crafting, like Leo Fender's PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system, which functions on all three pickups for dramatically more variety than the vintage setup, and a Dual-Fulcrum Vibrato bridge that allows for maximum stability in bending.

The EC-1001 Tiger Eye has a mahogany body with flamed maple top in the exquisite Tiger Eye finish, with outstanding black binding and matching black hardware. Other features of this guitar include a mahogany neck that features a satin finish on the back, with a Macassar ebony fingerboard and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets, and a set of direct-mount Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker pickups, with push-pull controls to select voicings.
