  Here is a beautiful, custom Tom Anderson Angel, finished in a stunning Transparent Dark Olive with binding. With flame maple top over a Limba body. Resonant and punchy, both acoustically and plugged-in.
  It has a super comfortable Even-Taper neck is made from caramel maple, with a matching caramel maple fingerboard. The neck has a satin natural finish that feels smooth and fast. The compound radius (12"–14") and jumbo stainless steel frets make bending and chording equally easy. The locking Floyd-Rose bridge is dive-bomb ready.

Carlos Santana's longstanding creative partnership with Paul Reed Smith has done much to shape the destiny of PRS Guitars. Over the years, we have honored this pivotal alliance by offering variations of his signature model instrument. The Santana Retro pays homage to the early “Pre-Factory” guitars Paul built for Carlos in the early 1980’s. Several unique design elements are reintroduced on this model, including a deeper body carve, original style heel, and the original headstock shape and nut placement.   ‘OM’ stands for “Orchestra Model,” but 80 years after this body shape was first designed it has become the most popular 14-fret model with fingerstyle guitar soloists who choose to play on steel strings. Yet flatpickers also find it appealing, and when the graceful cutaway is added these OMs are often used by lead players who routinely explore all 20 frets much as they would on an electric guitar. The compact shape makes the Collings OM equally easy to handle onstage or when sitting on the couch, and the relatively shallow body – barely over 4 inches deep – results in a balanced tone and immediate response.

  “I bought my first guitar built by John Suhr in 1986. I was writing a twisted Sister record with Dee Snider called “Love Is For Suckers.” Dee said it looked like a coffee table. I played it and fell in love and knew that was ‘The One’. I borrowed the $1200 from my brother, who was the director of the Metropolitan Opera in NYC. I made payments to pay it off and this guitar has been the one ever since.”
