  Since the dawn of rock and roll, the snap and response that comes from a bolt-on neck guitar has been an essential part of the mix. These attributes have, in turn, become essential to many players trying to tell their story through music. The CE 24 pairs PRS’s traditional body combination of the mahogany back and maple top with a bolt-on maple neck and rosewood fretboard. The neck sports a Pattern Thin carve and satin nitro finish for a natural, addictive feel. To further maximize the guitar’s inherent tone and clarity, the CE 24 features PRS 85/15 pickups, which Paul designed to have remarkable clarity as well as extended high and low end. The electronics consist of a volume and push/pull tone control with 3-way toggle switch for a total of six classic sounds.

Upgraded with 3-ply parchment pickguard, satin light-tint neck finish, and white pearl block inlays. Doheny takes the bolt-on offset-body into new sonic territory with the newly developed Magnetic Field Design jazz pickups. With a classic jazz bobbin aperture wrapped with traditional Formvar wire, these pickups just might be the approach Leo would have taken had he been with us a few years longer. The sound is rich in harmonics yet surprisingly full, delivering the experience fans have hoped for; with their flexibility maximized by the PTB tone system that allows for classic tones while delivering more output and range for today’s music. Based on Larrivee's tried and true "X-Brace" design, Jean Larrivee blended a non-symmetrical scalloped lateral cross-bracing pattern with their standard X-Brace. This means maximum strength using the least amount of material. It's a build that allows even further vibration of the soundboard, while still offering a controlled dynamic bass response. Like all Larrivée's, the 40 Series are built in America using only all solid wood and feature upgrades like bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard dots, and 18:1 open-back tuners. If the traditional double-cutaway bolt-on guitar is your standard, then the G&L Fullerton Deluxe Legacy is probably your best bet. It is the culmination of years of research and application from Paul Gagon, the G&L VP Engineering. Their vintage-spec CLF-100 Alnico single coils were developed directly from original Leo Fender prints, and successfully and impeccably capture that sparkle and spank of late 50s single coils. Coupling with the vintage tones is modern crafting, like Leo Fender's PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system, which functions on all three pickups for dramatically more variety than the vintage setup, and a Dual-Fulcrum Vibrato bridge that allows for maximum stability in bending.

The Xotic XSC guitars are hand built in the USA and feature nitrocellulose finish, flame roasted maple neck treated with oil for the ultimate in playability and Raw Vintage hand wound pickups based on Xotic’s own proprietary design.

The FS-5U (silver) is a momentary "unlatch"-type footswitch. Can be connected using ordinary guitar cables. Please consult your owner's manual for compatibility.
