Its versatility comes from its Maryland, USA-wound 85/15 pickups and 5-way blade switch, offering all the same sounds as the flagship Custom 24. Salvaged from the ancient Koa forests of the Big Island of Hawaii, the Hawaiian Country Boy’s Koa backs and sides sound as good as they look, offering a rich midrange and a touch of island warmth that will deepen over time. Dana Bourgeois has personally selected each old-growth Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top in this series. Chosen for their bright and responsive tap tones, each one was hand-voiced at Dana’s small workshop in Maine. By combining the warmth of Island Koa with the sparkle of winter spruce, the Touchstone Hawaiian Country Boy has been designed to respond equally well to delicate fingerpicking and lively strumming.

  With its solid build and versatile, vintage electronics platform, the S2 Standard 24 Satin is a true player's guitar. The thin satin nitro finish gives this instrument a wonderful resonance and an open clarity that's noticeable even unplugged. The solid mahogany body and set neck give this guitar a distinctive resonance and powerful sustain, and when mahogany's rich, round, warm tone meets the Maryland, USA-made 58/15 LT pickups, there are plenty of clear highs and strong mids to be dialed in. The subtle aesthetic of mahogany and vintage vibe of pickguard-mounted electronics give the S2 Standard 24 an understated look for players who prefer a stripped-down approach to their music.

Featuring a solid Thermo-Cured Sitka Spruce top, and solid Mahogany back and sides. The Orchestra name was given to this model in 1929 in an attempt to entice guitarists in dance orchestras to pick one up and take it to a gig. In more recent years, it has become a go-to instrument for finger pickers, due to its sensitive dynamic profile and subtle tonal properties. The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar, the iconic instrument that started it all back in 1985. The Custom 24-08 keeps many of the foundational specs as the original Custom – maple top, mahogany back and neck, 24 frets, 25" scale length, the PRS patented Gen III tremolo – but adds a new level of versatility with its TCI pickups and intuitive switching system. Featuring two mini-toggle coil-tap switches, the Custom 24-08 has eight different pickup settings that provide an array of humbucking and single coil tones, including a dual single coil option.
