  ESP E-II instruments are made in Japan at the ESP factory. With the E-II M-II Mercury Blueburst, you’re getting a powerhouse of a guitar that’s ready to impress, both visually and sonically. This guitar features set-thru construction at 25.5” scale for fast and easy access to the highest frets. Its alder body features a burled maple top with figured wood grain and knots that look incredible under its translucent finish. Its three-piece maple neck is satin-finished on the back for the ultimate in smooth playing feel. Its ebony fingerboard features pearloid offset block inlays and 24 extra-jumbo stainless steel frets.
  White binding accents the guitar’s top, headstock, and neck. Other premium-quality components include a Hipshot hardtail bridge with string-thru-body, Gotoh locking tuners, a bone nut, and ESP strap locks.
  Pickups are direct-mounted Bare Knuckle Aftermath with black Battleworn covers: offering accelerated bass response for exceptionally fast tracking of high-speed staccato riffing, and delivering a crushing midrange and precise high-end articulation. Its versatility comes from its Maryland, USA-wound 85/15 pickups and 5-way blade switch, offering all the same sounds as the flagship Custom 24. Familiar for PRS players of old, and a fresh take for players of all types.

Collings' “Traditional” build offers a rounder tone with less shimmery highs and a more open, broken-in feel. These “T” series guitars represent an exciting vintage-inspired variation on the distinctive Collings sound, designed and crafted to showcase the most desirable characteristics of coveted pre-war instruments. Bracing and tonewoods are adjusted for weight and thickness to create a voicing characterized by warm, rounded highs and a present low midrange, while retaining a quick attack and strong projection. Featuring East Indian rosewood back and sides with ivoroid body binding and butt wedge, small brown herringbone top purfling, a “zipper” backstrip, diamonds and squares fingerboard inlays, and a more intricate 2-style rosette.

The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world.
