  1. Bourgeois Model D "Banjo Killer" Bearclaw Sitka Spruce - Figured Mahogany #0444

    Regular Price: $7,199.00

    Special Price $6,479.00

The Banjo Killer is a slope shouldered dreadnought with a premium bearclaw Sitka spruce top and figured mahogany back and sides. The guitar is modeled after Bryan Sutton’s famous Bourgeois dubbed the “Banjo Killer". The fingerboard and belly bridge are figured ziricote wood. The Tor-tis pickguard is handmade, and the bridge pins are ebony with abalone dots. The tuners are Nickel Waverly with ivoroid buttons.
Bryan Sutton has this to say: "From the first time I played the Slope-D Bourgeois that would come to be known as the "Banjo Killer", I was amazed at the range of tone and volume the guitar could produce. The guitar always seems to be to able to handle any dynamic level of play. I can hear the guitar clearly in a loud jam session without feeling like I have to overplay and also enjoy a full and sustained tone when I want to play softly.”

  12. Paul Reed Smith SE Hollowbody II Piezo - Black Gold Burst #3529
    $1,589.00

Now boasting a newly-designed LR Baggs/PRS Piezo system, the SE Hollowbody II Piezo provides musicians with the versatility of wielding both acoustic and electric tones in one instrument. The instrument is designed with two discrete volume controls (magnetics and piezo) and output jacks (mix/piezo and magnetics). Players can plug into the “Mix/Piezo” jack and use the individual volume controls to blend the 58/15 “S” pickups with the piezo’s acoustic tones. Alternatively, players can plug into the jacks separately, so the guitar can run magnetic pickups into an amp and run the piezo through an acoustic amp or DI into the soundboard. When using the magnetic output jack in isolation, the piezo battery is bypassed completely, acting as a failsafe (in this scenario, the magnetic pickups still work even if the piezo battery has run out of juice). This is the most versatile SE instrument in the Series nearly twenty-year history.
