The 40 Series are built in America using all solid wood, like all Larrivée's, and feature upgrades like bone bridge pins, nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard dots and Grover 18:1 open back tuners. Jean's exciting design means a fresh new sound that is sure to appeal to traditional and long-time Larrivee players alike.

  Here is a 1975 Fender Precision Bass with a natural finish, ash body, and maple neck and fingerboard. Serial number 626646.
The bass plays and sounds great. Currently set up with flatwound strings it has that solid, authoritative Precision tone you’d expect from a mid '70s Fender. It is in good condition showing overall cosmetic wear that is entirely consistent with its age - nothing out of the ordinary for a 50-year-old instrument.
  The pickguard has been replaced with a solid brass guard, and the pickups were swapped out many years ago for EMG pickups. Based on the pots, the pickup change most likely dates to the 1980s. It is a great playing vintage Precision with some period correct mods.
