The key to the Super Bee circuit lies in its current-production 6BM8 output tubes. The pair achieves rich, bold, articulate tone remarkably reminiscent of the classic 6L6GC but at only 10 watts — plenty to cut through your drummer at the next club gig, but easily driven into dynamic sonic splendor without violating any noise restrictions.

Add a built-in attenuator to take it from 2 watts to a whisper for late-night jams; Carr’s spacious, three-dimensional tube-driven reverb; an EZ81 tube rectifier for a lively, bouncy playing response; and Carr’s legendary point-to-point construction and high-end component selection, and this is the finest compact Fullerton-killer on the scene today.

Crafted with all-solid tonewoods, tone-enhancing interior bracing and a striking sunburst finish, the Taylor 314ce Studio makes pro-quality sound more accessible than ever. This versatile, comfortable Grand Auditorium acoustic-electric boasts back and sides of solid sapele, a mahogany-like tonewood with a warm, punchy midrange voice. A solid top of torrefied Sitka spruce yields bold projection and a warm, aged-in quality thanks to our special roasting recipe, while our V-Class bracing adds more volume, longer sustain and clearer harmony between notes all the way up the neck. A narrower nut width of 1-11/16 inches and our slender neck profile makes for buttery-smooth fretting at any skill level, and the onboard ES2 electronics make it easy to plug in and play with clear amplified tone. This model is finished with an attractive shaded edgeburst top treatment and an all-gloss body, and includes a structured gig bag for convenient storage and portability.

Larrivee's Traditional Series was created with two things in mind: Create an instrument with traditional 'vintage' features like a flat-top headstock, hand-carved volute, and diamond inlays; but at the same time maintain the unique tonal balance of the standard Larrivée symmetrical parabolic bracing system. An enlarged soundhole allows significantly greater mid-range punch, emphasizing the low end, and increasing overall volume. This 50 Series features Larrivee's highest grade mahogany, herringbone trim, and traditional angled bone nut. The casted bronze open-back tuners feature engraved design work by Wendy Larrivee. Salvaged from the ancient Koa forests of the Big Island of Hawaii, the Hawaiian Country Boy’s Koa backs and sides sound as good as they look, offering a rich midrange and a touch of island warmth that will deepen over time. Dana Bourgeois has personally selected each old-growth Bearclaw Sitka Spruce top in this series. Chosen for their bright and responsive tap tones, each one was hand-voiced at Dana’s small workshop in Maine. By combining the warmth of Island Koa with the sparkle of winter spruce, the Touchstone Hawaiian Country Boy has been designed to respond equally well to delicate fingerpicking and lively strumming.

The Custom 24 is the quintessential PRS guitar, the iconic instrument that started it all back in 1985.
