The LTD TED-EC joins the Signature Series of Ted Aguilar, guitarist of Bay Area thrash titans Death Angel. This outstanding guitar offers a brutally unique look, with its Black finish sharply contrasting with gleaming white pickup covers/rings and white pearloid tuners. Based on the single-cutaway Eclipse shape, the TED-EC features special design aspects like its neck-thru-body construction at 24.75” scale, mahogany body with maple cap, and thin u-shaped three-piece mahogany neck. It offers a Macassar ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl dot inlays and 24 extra-jumbo frets. Components on the TED-EC include a recessed Gotoh TOM bridge with string thru body, LTD locking tuners, and a set of powerful and aggressive EMG 81 (bridge) and EMG 60 (neck) active pickups with white covers.   The brainchild of Sarah Tyler, the 35th Anniversary Studio Elite commemorates the birth year of the Studio Elite with Jim's iconic headstock design: 1987. This year marks a pivotal moment when Jim transitioned to full-time guitar building, leaving behind mods and repairs for good. With the guitar turning 35 years old in 2022, it was only fitting to celebrate its rich history.
  To honor this milestone, every aspect of the guitar reflects California craftsmanship and tones, paying homage to the early Tylers made with Mamywo. The guitar features lead/rhythm circuits with mid-boost preamps, reminiscent of those classic models. Additionally, to infuse a touch of modernity, Tyler incorporated the Stingray 500 pickups with the new cancelling coil circuit.

Premier components include Gotoh locking tuners, a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece, a bone nut, ESP strap locks, and a set of Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic Humbucker pickups with push-pull controls to activate three different voicings.   The Modern Eagle V is an innovative instrument that offers highly musical tones for both recording and playing live. Utilizing a hum/single/hum (five-coil) pickup layout and unique electronics configuration, the Modern Eagle V gives players a vast array of tones in one guitar. The 5-way blade switch selects the pickups in intuitive groupings: treble, treble and middle, middle, middle and bass, and bass. There is a single volume and a push/pull tone control that activates both humbuckers when engaged; this allows players to access all three pickups simultaneously. Finally, the mini toggles allow players to individually tap the humbucker coils, for additional single-coil sounds. This electronics design puts a whole set of classic and new tones at your fingertips.
  Additional appointments include a maple top and mahogany back, a 22 fret, 25” scale length, Pattern mahogany neck with rosewood fretboard, bone nut, and PRS patented Gen III tremolo.

  This Custom Build Banjo Killer is a standard square shouldered dreadnought with a premium bearclaw Sitka spruce top and figured mahogany back and sides. Square headstock shape. The bracing for this guitar is modeled after Bryan Sutton’s famous Bourgeois dubbed the “Banjo Killer". The fingerboard and belly bridge are figured ziricote wood. The Tor-tis pickguard is handmade, and the bridge pins are ebony with abalone dots. The tuners are Nickel Waverly with ivoroid buttons.
