  1. Collings D2H - Torrefied Sitka Top/Adirondack Braces/Indian Rosewood #29607
    $5,425.00

Upgraded with Torrefied/Baked Sitka top and Adirondack braces.
The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is certainly not the only company to build them, they bring a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar. Although its bass response makes the dreadnought ideal for vocal accompaniment, Collings versions are also often employed by bluegrass flatpickers who must compete with inherently louder instruments such as banjos and fiddles.

  3. Used Collings MF5 V Mandolin F-Style Varnish Sunburst Finish
    $6,500.00

2005 Collings MF5 V full gloss F style mandolin, with hand rubbed oil based varnish finish. Thinner than nitrocellulose lacquer, the varnish finish is more flexible and allows the wood to resonate more, significantly smoothing out the mids and highs while extending the low end considerably. The tonal qualities produced by the varnish finish are amazing, especially when compared side by side to a mandolin without it. This is Colling's fully appointed mandolin with carved Adirondack top, full Ivoroid binding, Pearl inlays, highly figured custom flamed Maple back and sides, and bound Ebony pickguard. Excellent condition, showing no fret wear. It was obviously very well taken care of by the original owner. It is absolutely beautiful, and the sound is phenomenal. This is a serious instrument for a serious player. Comes with original hardshell case.

  6. Collings MF Mandolin Ivoroid Bound Gloss Top #2058
    $5,650.00

I met Bill Collings in the 80's at an Austin Guitar Show. He was a great guy that loved instruments. He built some of the finest instruments I'd ever seen. I was in the vintage business at that time, and had played Loar F-5's and such.  I could not believe how his mandolins held up against those. It changed my whole view on new versus old. We have a good one for you fine folks, a Collings MF Mandolin. This instrument is gorgeous with an upgraded glossed top and ivoroid top binding. The gloss top enhances the sunburst finish and the ivoroid dining really pops against the burst. It has a classic, elegant look.  This one is a keeper, you are going to love it. Comes with hard case.

  9. Waterloo WL-JK Jumbo King - Spruce/Indian Rosewood #1506
    $2,500.00

Featuring Waterloo's East Indian Rosewood back/side option, vintage-inspired x-bracing, and a prominent v-shaped neck with fully adjustable truss rod.

Full-bodied in both tone and stature, the aptly nicknamed "Jumbo King" is the largest size offering in the Waterloo line and a modern day tribute to jumbo-sized guitars of the early 1940s. Originally manufactured by Regal for the mail-order enterprise Montgomery Ward, this slope-shoulder body size was designed to provide performers of the era with enough volume and power for professional radio work. The WL-JK accomplishes this and more by employing a full five-inch body depth and a slightly narrow waist to enhance both the bass and treble response.
