  1. Used 2016 Taylor 914CE V-Class
    $3,800.00

I love the movie "High Anxiety". There are some great lines as the Bellman takes the acrophobic Psychiatrist to the top floor, saying "We are going to the top floor, all the way up, you can't get any higher, we're pretty high." That amuses me. We have the top of the line rosewood Taylor, a 914 CE. The only way to go higher in the standard Taylor production is to get a Presentation series model. The 900 series is top of the line for Taylor Indian Rosewood models. Our Taylor 914 CE is from 2016, and it is super nice. This is a near-mint example out of a collectors stash. The only blemish we can see is an impression in the top near the edge of the waist on the treble side. This guitar has beautiful Indian Rosewood with Taylor's V-Class bracing, a beveled armrest, ebony binding, Gotoh 510 tuners, and label signed by the designer. It is a wonderful guitar, plays great, sounds great, and looks great. It is perfect and a joy to play. Comes with original hard case.

  2. Vintage 1951 Martin 000-18
    $2,800.00

1951, what a great year! Unemployment was 3.3%, average family income was $3700 a year, turn signals were introduced on automobiles (although people continued using hand signals), I was born, and Martin made this fine guitar. We have a Martin 000-18 made in 1951. This is a great sounding and playing guitar. Cosmetically, it's a little rough. It has several cracks that were repaired by Carter Vintage Guitars in Nashville, TN. There is a repaired hole in the lower bout where in input jack previously was. It has had a neck set, new saddle, and new nut. The neck angle is now fine. It has been refretted: an excellent, professional job. The pickguard has been replaced. There are lots of scratches, nicks and dings. This guitar has been well played and has a cool vintage patina. It sounds great, like an old Martin should. Can you believe this thing is almost 68 years old? Comes with original hard case.

  3. USED 2015 Martin 00-28VS Lefty
    $2,500.00

"A fingerpicker's dream." You know, that's sort of misleading. I have no idea what fingerpickers dream about. Maybe they don't dream about guitars at all, who knows? Well, if I was left handed and owned this guitar, it would be a dream come true. We are offering a lefty 2015 Martin 00-28VS. Indian Rosewood back and sides, Sitka Spruce top, scalloped bracing, V neck, slot head, ebony fingerboard, 12 fret, 24.9" scale, 1 7/8" at the nut. It's super clean. The only blemishes worth mentioning is a little bit of button wear on the back and a small ding on the top near the edge of the lower bout on the treble side. The neck is straight and true. Action is nice and comfortable. It plays great, and sounds wonderful. Buzzy, our resident fingerpicker here at the shop, was playing some beautiful music on the this guitar and gives it two thumbs up. It's a great one. You'll love it. Comes with original hard case.

  7. USED Gibson 2002 J-160E Sunburst
    $2,095.00

"Our Jumbos". That's what George Harrison and John Lennon called their Gibson J-160E models. It is super nice, and in near mint condition. The frets are perfect, the action is good, it sounds great. It is everything you want in a Gibson J-160E. 8. USED Vintage 1965 Gibson J-50 ADJ
    $3,250.00

1965 was a great year. The average cost of a new house was $13,600. Gas cost 31 cents a gallon. Pink Floyd was formed. The Rolling Stones released Vol.2, their second UK album. It was a great year for music, and a great year for the guitar too. 1963, 64 and 65 are my favorite years for Gibson acoustics. I love the necks, with a comfortable medium "C" profile and a great taper. I'm also a fan of the ceramic bridge saddle. The sound is amazing. Listen to the early Stones records, you will hear what I mean. We have a beautiful 1965 Gibson J-50 Adj. It's a super clean, one owner instrument. It has very light wear, like it was played a year, then put up. The natural finish shows very light lacquer checking. 1-11/16" nut width. The frets are fine with plenty of life in them. No repairs or modifications. It has no issues or problems. It's featherweight and sounds fantastic. This is a collector's grade instrument, there aren't that many this nice around. One of the best I've seen. Comes with original hardshell case.

  12. USED 1985 Taylor 710 Lemon Grove Dreadnought Sitka Rosewood
    $1,595.00

1985 doesn't seem like it was 33 years ago. When you say something happened in 1990 my mind thinks of that as being just 10 years ago. Time sure does fly. Most Taylor aficionados will consider this 710, built in 1985, a vintage model. Made in the original Lemon Grove factory, Taylor only made 681 guitars in 1985. Vintage Taylors are known for having plenty of volume and this one lives up to this reputation with ease. Easy to play and light as a feather, it could fill a large room with minimal effort from the player. Frets are in near-perfect condition. Overall a well seasoned, fantastic instrument that has opened up beautifully in its 33 years. In great condition, with the typical cosmetic wear you'd expect. No repairs, no separations, and no issues. Passive Thinline under saddle pickup. The pickguard has been replaced with a new one, and the original one will be included inside the case. Just recently set up with Elixir 16102 phosphor bronze medium string. It is ready to go.
