The Custom 24-08 keeps many of the foundational specs as the original Custom – the guitar that started PRS back in 1985 – but adds a new level of versatility with its TCI pickups and EQ mini-toggle switches.   The DGT (David Grissom Trem) is the result of more than 20 years of collaboration between Paul Reed Smith and David Grissom. The DGT is based on the McCarty platform with a unique DGT neck shape, taller frets, specially-voiced pickups, and a revised control layout. Grissom and Paul spent a year A/B-ing more than forty sets of pickups before nailing the vintage-voice of DGT humbuckers. When paired with individual volume controls for each pickup and a push/pull master tone control that operates the coil taps, DGT pickups provide versatility and articulation.

The PRS Swamp Ash Special brings a unique look and sound to the PRS Bolt-On line up. Its swamp ash body is equipped with a versatile hum/“single”/hum pickup configuration. Two 58/15 LT pickups flank a PRS Narrowfield in the middle position, which adds a single-coil bite – without the hum. Paired with a volume, tone, 5-way blade switch, and dual mini-toggle coil-tap switches (for the first time on this model), the Swamp Ash Special has a total of twelve sound combinations.   Here is a seriously cool PRS that checks all the boxes. This is a 2020 Wood Library Special Semi-Hollow with a gorgeous Quilted Maple 10-Top in Burnt Maple Leaf finish...and yes, the top really is that nice in person. This one was collector-owned and is in excellent condition.
