This iconic instrument was the first model that Paul Reed Smith brought to the public at PRS Guitars’ first Winter NAMM show in 1985 and has been a top seller ever since. Played by internationally touring artists, gigging musicians, and aspiring players, the Custom 24 features PRS’s patented Gen III tremolo system and PRS 85/15 pickups with volume and tone controls and a 5-way blade switch. 85/15 pickups were personally designed by Paul Reed Smith to offer remarkable clarity and extended high and low end.

  The S2 Custom 24 takes the original PRS guitar, the Custom 24, and re-imagines it with stripped-down features and a new aesthetic. Retaining the classic maple top/mahogany back combination with PRS's classic body shape and an asymmetrical beveled top, this guitar has a resonant, powerful voice. Its versatility comes from its 85/15 "S" pickups with push/pull tone knob, and 3-way blade switch. Familiar for PRS players of old, and a fresh take for players of all types.

We are excited to offer this very special PRS Custom 24. It has a spectacular flamed maple 10-top in a Lemon Lime Fade finish with natural back, this finish is not an available option. Made in 2009, and collector owned; it is in near-mint condition. Frets are perfect, neck is perfect. It was sent back to PRS where the PTC team upgraded the HFS and Vintage Bass pickups to the 59/09's and also changed the pickup rings. The original pickups and rings will be included inside the case. Pattern Thin neck profile. It's set up perfectly. Plays and sounds great!  Comes with PRS case, hangtags and all paperwork.
