"The 594 is the best new guitar I've played in years. It has a vintage heart and soul but without the technical limitations that usually come along with an old instrument. What good is an old guitar if you can't get all that feel out of the upper frets, or the intonation is off? To hear that old PAF sound but be able to articulate the notes in a way that only modern manufacturing could allow is so exciting." – John Mayer

  4. PAUL REED SMITH CUSTOM 24 - 10-TOP - FLAME MAPLE NECK/BOARD - BONNI PINK #2524
    $4,230.00

This Custom 24 has been upgraded with a 10-Top, Artist finish (Bonnie Pink), Artist Grade flamed maple neck and fingerboard. Also features a Pattern Thin neck profile.

Do you guys know the story about the PRS Custom finish, Bonni Pink?  Bonni Lloyd was an early PRS employee, one of the first.  She wanted a pink guitar and they guys at PRS made her one.  Word got out and PRS made a few in very limited numbers during the late 1980's. Those guitars are highly sought after and are valuable collectors items.  This one just came in, we had to wait a while to get it, again, it is being made in limited numbers.  This guitar is new, a PRS Custom 24 with flames out the wazoo, a 10 top, bird inlays, and of course, the super cool Bonni Pink finish.  It has a pattern/thin neck and vibrato.  The finish is so cool, it's awesome.  Oh, there may be some that scoff at a pink finish, but remember, Jeff Beck played a pink Charvel.  You think you are cooler than Jeff Beck?  I don't think so.  So, man up and get this great guitar before some other, less insecure person grabs it.  Comes with hard case.

    $499.00

For players looking to cover new ground, the SE Custom 24 7-String offers the feel and tones you’ll need. The addition of a low-B string will help you explore new sonic territory whether you’re playing rock, jazz, or metal.
The SE Custom 24 7-String, PRS Guitars first 7-string production instrument, takes familiar PRS aesthetics and playability to new sonic territory. Using the Custom 24 as a platform, this guitar adds a low-B string to offer increased versatility to the player who wants more tonal range. Whether you’re playing rock, jazz, or metal, this guitar provides extended low-end growl, increased chordal variance, and a greater ability to embellish standard chords.
The SE 7-String features a beveled maple top with flame maple veneer and mahogany back, a 24-fret, 25” scale length maple neck with rosewood fretboard and bird inlays. The electronics package pairs SE HFS and SE Vintage Bass pickups with a volume, push/pull tone, and 3-way blade switch. The SE HFS and SE Vintage pickups were designed to mirror the Maryland-made pickups of the same name (used on the Custom since 1991). Originally meaning Hot, Fat, and Screams, the HFS was the evolution of the original Standard treble pickup. The HFS is a powerful pickup with a balance of aggression, clear highs, strong mid-range, and strong bass. Likewise, the Vintage bass is the evolution of the original Standard bass pickup and has a warm high-mid sound that is excellent for many musical styles.
