  5. USED Vintage 1965 Fender Stratocaster Fiesta Red #6944
    $8,800.00

Beautiful Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard. The previous owner professionally refinished the body in Fiesta Red sometime in the late 1980's. The logo on the headstock has been replaced and there are signs of slight lacquer overspray to the neck. The frets are in excellent condition and have many years of playability left. The neck and bridge pickups have hand written codes on them: 4-21-65 and are the gray bottom rather than the black bottom variety, which is fairly common in the 1964/65 transition. The middle pickup has been replaced with a Modern Fender one. No ash tray and non original tremolo arm. The bridge saddles are modern Fender. The pot codes are 1376514, the serial number is L 86944. The tuning keys have been replaced with the correct vintage style keys. Modern 5 way pickup selector switch. There are signs of a different style key being previously installed. The pickguard is original with the aluminum shield underneath it. It's a great vintage Stratocaster. Looks great, sounds great and plays great. The case is original with the handle and latches working properly.

    Wide Thin Neck Profile
