Details

If you're a long time Jeff Beck fan then you'll remember first seeing the original Tele-Gib guitar that Seymour Duncan put together and gave to Jeff back. Jeff used the "Tele-Gib" on the "Blow By Blow" album and others after that. He recorded "Cause We've Ended As Lovers" and songs like "Freeway Jam". Jeff described it as a “great guitar, that is really the best of both worlds.” You can also see Jeff playing it live with Eric Clapton on the "Secret Policeman's Ball" video.

Written by Seymour Duncan, the creator of the "Tele-Gib."
"I wanted Jeff to have an instrument that had the tone of a Les Paul. I couldn't afford a Les Paul so I made the Tele-Gib instead and gave it to him."
"The main reason I made and gave Jeff the Tele-Gib was because I loved the tone he had on the "Truth" album."
"Jeff started playing and recording with the "Tele-Gib" in 1974 and recorded tracks on the "Blow By Blow" album. One song you can hear him using the volume controls in on "Cause We've Ended As Lovers."
