  Here is a really cool vintage amp that offers the best of both worlds: classic Blackface Fender tone with some upgrades that make it even more useful for today's players.
  This 1966 Fender Bassman head (Serial #A20363) has been fully serviced and modified by Lyle Caldwell of Psionic Audio, one of the most respected amp techs in the business. The first channel has been voiced more like a Marshall, giving it a thicker midrange and more aggressive gain structure while still retaining the touch sensitivity and character that make these old Bassmans so special.

  Lyle also added a Presence, Master Volume, and Mid control, all mounted on the back of the chassis to preserve the amp's classic appearance from the front. These additions make the amp much more versatile and allow you to dial in everything from beautiful Fender cleans to rich, harmonically complex overdrive.
  The amp is in excellent condition and has clearly been well cared for over the years. It sounds fantastic: big, punchy, and responsive. Whether you're after vintage Fender tones, classic rock crunch, or a great pedal platform, this Bassman delivers.
