  We are pleased to offer this 1979 Benedetto Limelite Archtop, Serial #7181, built by Bob Benedetto for guitarist, composer, and recording artist Ted Shumate.
  This 16" x 3" acoustic archtop features a stunning carved birdseye maple body, a 24-1/2" scale length, and a floating DeArmond Rhythm Chief #1100 pickup. Handcrafted by Bob Benedetto, the guitar reflects the exceptional attention to detail and workmanship that characterized his early instruments.

  Appointments include hand-carved scrollwork, hand-cut Mother of Pearl vine and Abalone rose fingerboard inlays, an ebony fingerboard, ebony pickguard and tailpiece, 24K gold Grover tuners, a 24K gold DeArmond Rhythm Chief #1100 pickup, multi-ply ivoroid binding throughout, and a burl wood headstock overlay with inlay.
  The guitar has a rich, warm acoustic voice with excellent projection and responds beautifully when amplified through the floating DeArmond pickup. It includes a hardshell case.
