This Les Paul Goldtop has a solid mahogany body with maple top, with a gloss nitro finish that will age beautifully as it gets played. The '50s neck carve has that nice, substantial feel without being over the top. Very comfortable in the hand. Rosewood board, trapezoid inlays.
The Burstbucker 1 in the neck is warm and open, the Burstbucker 2 in the bridge brings the punch and midrange bite. Clean tones are rich and full, and when you lean into it, it really sings. Handwired electronics with Orange Drop caps are a nice touch, and much nicer than the snap in PCB electronics Gibson has previously used.
If you are after a great Les Paul with that classic look, feel, and tone, this one checks every box.FEATURES
