Gretsch's Players Edition line is built for modern players while staying true to the designs that made Gretsch legendary. The G6120 designation refers to the classic Nashville body: a single-cutaway, full-hollow guitar with arched laminated maple top and back. This one uses Gretsch's ML bracing, which blends vintage Parallel and Trestle bracing, giving you that open, woody Gretsch resonance while improving sustain and reducing feedback.
The TG features are all about playability and tuning stability. The String-Thru Bigsby makes string changes quick and painless, the pinned ebony-base Adjusto-Matic bridge stays perfectly in place, and the Graph Tech TUSQ nut and locking tuners keep everything smooth and stable—even with heavy Bigsby use.
DS means Dynasonic pickups in both positions: classic Gretsch single-coils with adjustable pole pieces for precise balance. Controls include independent pickup volumes, a master volume with treble bleed, and a Players Edition no-load master tone pot, which fully bypasses the tone circuit when set to 10 for maximum clarity.
