Ernie Ball Music Man proudly presents the Kaizen, an all-new visionary collaboration between the Ernie Ball Music Man design team and the world-renowned guitarist, innovator, and designer Tosin Abasi. Built for the modern player, the 7-string Kaizen is crafted with forward-thinking design concepts guided by Tosin Abasi’s unique playing style and vision. Offered with a decidedly contoured alder body, roasted figured maple neck, and ebony fretboard, the multi-scale length fretboard also features an “infinity radius” that provides improved visibility of the fretboard in any playing position. The electronics include a new Music Man HT bridge humbucker, custom offset neck humbucker, and a 3-way switch wired with a custom middle position. The Jason Richardson artist series 6-string Cutlass guitar features dual humbucking pickups, trans alder body, and a Rorschach Trans Red Buckeye Burl top. The Rorschach finish is highlighted with a natural 3/16" wood binding, gloss finish, and all gold hardware. A figured roasted maple neck with ebony fingerboard is outfitted with 24 medium-jumbo stainless steel frets, a 15-inch radius, and a slender neck carve for very fast playability.Learn More
The JR's contoured lower body horn allows for extreme upper fret access to all 24 frets. Ernie Ball Music Man bridge and neck pickups are custom wound to Jason's exact specifications offering heavy crunch rhythm tones and a clear and bright top end for endless soloing. Electronics include a volume control with up to 20dB of boost and push tone potentiometer that via the 3-way pickup selector offer some exciting coil tapping options. Other specifications include a floating Ernie Ball Music Man Cutlass tremolo, gold hardware, and Schaller locking tuners. The neckplate is laser etched with a custom Jason Richardson signature logo to signify its artist series destination.
