  2. Tausch 665 Deluxe - Amber Burst #1801
    $4,800.00

The Tausch 665 Deluxe in Amber Burst is a set-neck, semi-solid Telecaster style body with hand-picked, meticulously chosen woods. Tausch guitars give new meaning to hand-made. He makes about two guitars a month. The attention to detail is extraordinary. He uses Harry Haussel pickups that sound amazing. It has a strat style tremelo with a Pau Ferro wooden block instead of the metal traditionally used. The resonance is unreal. The semi-acoustic body made of Pearwood gives the 665 a truely unbelievabe loud and "alive" acoustic response. Sound just explodes from this thing. The flamed maple neck is "set in", with a neck joint that enables comfortable access up to the highest registers. The sunburst finish is similar to the one use by Gibson on Les Paul models in the late 50's. It is lightweight, and an absolute joy to play. It is one of our absolute favorite new guitars: an inspiring instrument, that will make you happy for a lifetime.

  5. PAUL REED SMITH SILVER SKY JOHN MAYER SIGNATURE - FROST #9115
    $2,299.00

"It's been a dream of mine for years to design a guitar that includes some of my favorite vintage specifications but with a modern spirit and aesthetic. After two years of study and refinement, the Silver Sky is my vision of what a reboot of the electric guitar should look and feel like." – John Mayer
The PRS Silver Sky is the result of a close collaboration between Grammy Award-winning musician John Mayer and Paul Reed Smith. More than two and half years in the making, the Silver Sky is a vintage-inspired instrument that is at once familiar but also newly PRS through and through. This model was based off of Mayer and Smith’s favorite elements from 1963 and 1964 vintage instruments, resulting in an idealized version of a vintage single-coil guitar. The attention that was paid to every detail sets this guitar apart.
Some of the more distinctive specifications include, the headstock shape, tuners, neck and fretboard, bridge, and pickups and electronics. The headstock shape is based on PRS’s trademark design, but inverted to both accommodate Mayer’s playing style and also to keep a consistent length of string behind the nut, which makes staying in tune easier. The tuners are a traditional vintage-style, closed-back tuner, but with PRS’s locking design. The neck shape was modeled after 1963/1964 vintage instruments, and the fretboard has a 7.25” radius. The moment your hand grabs this neck, it just feels right. Like the tuners, the steel tremolo takes a classic design and incorporates PRS’s trem arm and Gen III knife-edge screws. The bridge on the Silver Sky is setup flush to the body in the neutral position so that the tremolo bridge only goes down in pitch. By keeping the bridge in contact with the body, the guitar itself is acoustically louder, which improves the signal to noise ratio of the single-coil pickups. The 635JM single-coil pickups are very round and full, with a musical high end that is never “ice-picky” or brash.
Other high-quality specifications include a bone nut, a molded metal jack plate that is curved and makes plugging and unplugging a guitar cable hassle-free, retooled knobs, fretwire that is slightly smaller than what you’d find on most PRS electric guitars, and PRS’s double action truss rod (accessible from the front of the headstock for ease of use).

  6. USED Taylor Custom Grand Auditorium Quilted Maple/Englemann Spruce #2065
    $3,400.00

Here is one of the nicest second hand Taylor guitars that has come through here in quite a while. A Taylor Custom Grand Auditorium 6 string, and I mean Custom from the ground up! To start with, the top is a beautiful Engelmann Spruce that has a spectacular tobacco sunburst. Take that and put a figured Koa binding around the body and around the neck and headstock and then you begin to understand what we have. The maple neck has a fretboard of ebony that, by request, has a tremendous amount of marbling. That fretboard blends really nicely with the Koa binding. The bridge is ebony as well, also with a good amount of marbling. There is a custom ordered rosette with a ring of that same figured Koa with a bound soundhole.
The back and sides are beautiful "A" grade quilted maple finished in tobacco sunburst. The tuners are Gotoh 510's, antique gold finish with ebony buttons. These tuners are, in my opinion, the best, most accurate, and smoothest on the market. It becomes a pleasure having to tune the guitar! The Taylor Expression pickup system is installed. The saddle and nut are bone.
As far as the sound, not much needs to be said - Taylors always sound great. When I think of a maple body, I expect to hear something a bit tight, brittle, with the treble shouting through the mix. Not so with what Taylor has been doing with their maple models lately. Their selection of the wood, and the manner in which the bracing has been adjusted yields a warmth that is fantastic while not sacrificing the openness and clarity you'd expect from maple. The sustain is long and pleasing.
With the comfortable 1 3/4" neck width and some Elixir Light Nanoweb strings on this baby, you are set for a lifetime! Except for a little ding on the top lower bout, treble side, the guitar is in mint condition.
Feel welcomed to call us with any questions or a hands-on description. Of course, the Taylor brown hardshell case is included.
Street price for this guitars was $5085. Grab this for a fraction of that price $3400.

  8. Paul Reed Smith McCarty 594 Copperhead 10 Top #6456
    $4,300.00

Yosaw, Yowsa, Yowsa, we've got a good one for you! Don't you love that phrase, "Yowsa, Yowsa, Yowsa?" It was popularized by the great jazz violinist, Ben Bernie in the 1930's. You'll say Yowsa when you see this guitar, it is stunning. We have a new, PRS McCarty 594 with 10 top in Copperhead finish, normally a finish only available on an Artist Package model. The 10 top is one of the best we've seen, with a figured mahogany body. The neck is a pattern vintage that feels great. It is a fine sounding, and fine playing instrument. The McCarty 594 is a vintage-inspired instrument that is at once incredibly familiar and effortlessly playable. Whether you are looking for rich, authentic, vintage humbucking tones or nuanced, sweet singlecoil sounds, the McCarty 594 can seamlessly master both sonic territories thanks to the 58/15 LT pickups and push/pull coil taps on the tone controls. The electronics layout, a few key specifications, and PRS craftsmanship combine in the McCarty 594 to create an instrument that plays in tune, is intonated the entire length of the neck, and feels like a guitar that you’ve been playing forever.
