  3. USED 2002 Collings D-2H Indian Rosewood/Sitka Spruce
    $2,895.00

You know vintage guys can be kind of snobby about guitars. I'm guilty of that. I used to say things like, "I won't play anything made after 1965". Kind of silly really, but that's how it was. Collings changed that for me. I was forced to admit their guitars stood up against old Martin and prewar Gibsons, and in some ways even exceeded them. Here we have a 2002 Collings D-2H. This is a Martin D-28 style with Indian Rosewood back and sides, Herringbone trim, Grover tuners and Sitka spruce top. It shows light wear, nothing major at all. This guitar was played but well taken care of. The frets are in near perfect condition. The action is great with plenty of room on the saddle to come down. An LR Baggs Anthem pickup has been installed (a $300 upgrade). It is loud and toneful. A guitar for a lifetime. Comes with original hard case.

  4. USED 1986 Alvarez Yairi CY117 Classical Made In Japan
    $595.00

I was listening to Nashville Skyline by Bob Dylan the other day. It has classical guitar played with a pick all over it. It sounds great. I'm not suggesting that all classical guitars should be played with a pick, but it is cool to hear. We have a 1986 Alvarez Yari CY 117 Classical Guitar. Made in Japan. This is a great guitar, a serious classical for students or professionals. It has Indian rosewood back and sides with a solid cedar top, gold hardware, and a really cool rosette that has the Yari logo, and an Indian Rosewood nut. It is nice and clean, showing light wear. This guitar has opened up beautifully in the past 32 years. It sounds great, really robust, with fantastic projection. Comes with original hard case.

  5. USED 2016 Taylor 914CE V-Class
    $3,800.00

I love the movie "High Anxiety". There are some great lines as the Bellman takes the acrophobic Psychiatrist to the top floor, saying "We are going to the top floor, all the way up, you can't get any higher, we're pretty high." That amuses me. We have the top of the line rosewood Taylor, a 914 CE. The only way to go higher in the standard Taylor production is to get a Presentation series model. The 900 series is top of the line for Taylor Indian Rosewood models. Our Taylor 914 CE is from 2016, and it is super nice. This is a near-mint example out of a collectors stash. The only blemish we can see is an impression in the top near the edge of the waist on the treble side. This guitar has beautiful Indian Rosewood with Taylor's V-Class bracing, a beveled armrest, ebony binding, Gotoh 510 tuners, and label signed by the designer. It is a wonderful guitar, plays great, sounds great, and looks great. It is perfect and a joy to play. Comes with original hard case.

  6. USED 2015 Martin 00-28VS Lefty
    $2,500.00

"A fingerpicker's dream." You know, that's sort of misleading. I have no idea what fingerpickers dream about. Maybe they don't dream about guitars at all, who knows? Well, if I was left handed and owned this guitar, it would be a dream come true. We are offering a lefty 2015 Martin 00-28VS. Indian Rosewood back and sides, Sitka Spruce top, scalloped bracing, V neck, slot head, ebony fingerboard, 12 fret, 24.9" scale, 1 7/8" at the nut. It's super clean. The only blemishes worth mentioning is a little bit of button wear on the back and a small ding on the top near the edge of the lower bout on the treble side. The neck is straight and true. Action is nice and comfortable. It plays great, and sounds wonderful. Buzzy, our resident fingerpicker here at the shop, was playing some beautiful music on the this guitar and gives it two thumbs up. It's a great one. You'll love it. Comes with original hard case.

  8. USED PRS 2016 CE24 Custom Color - Charcoal Metallic w/ Black Neck
    $1,695.00

Here's a 2016 PRS CE24 in a custom color -  Charcoal Metallic with Black neck. It's in amazing condition. Near mint. It has scarcely been played, but should be because it plays amazingly. The 85/15 pickups are tone machines that can play any type of music from jazz, blues, classic rock, all the way to metal. With the push/pull you can get a nice Fender style single coil tone out of the neck or bridge pickups. Another great feature that benefits the tone is the brass contact points where the strings go around on the locking tuners. Paul Reed Smith himself has stated that it leads to better tone and sustain. With 24 frets the CE24 has endless capabilities and is a great addition to any guitar collection! Comes with original papers and gig bag.

  9. USED Ken Smith 2003 BSREG Elite 5 String
    $3,500.00

Here's an outstanding Ken Smith BSR Elite Artist Series neck thru 5 string bass. At the time this bass was made it was the next to top of the line model that Ken Smith offered just below the limited edition Black Tiger series. The woods and finish on this model are improved over the lessor models...it has the Smith hand-rubbed catalyzed lacquer finish instead of the Dutch varnish. This BSR-EG has a fat tone with quick, rich, articulate note response. Incredible wood selection. The build and feel is phenomenal. Very comfortable and balanced in the hands. All original. No repairs. No modifications. Collector owned, it's in near mint condition...we've seen new basses hanging in other shops that show more wear than this one. The neck is straight and true. 11. USED Rare 1996 Guild Artist Award Archtop
    $4,000.00

What's not to like about a guitar with class? You know, one that would look just as good with a tuxedo as it would with jeans. Here we have a 1996 Gibson Artist Award. It is an instrument of great beauty, and as we've already mentioned, class. It is in exceptionally fine condition, showing almost no wear. The only real wear I can see is on the edge of the gold plated pickup, and a slight bit of hazing on the gold tailpiece. The frets are perfect, everything is perfect. It plays and sounds great. It's a great Jazz guitar, but more than that it is a great guitar period. The Artist Award has a 17 inch wide body with a solid spruce archtop and gorgeous flamed solid maple back and sides. Floating humbucker. Grover Imperial tuners and that classy Guild headstock. The gold plated hardware really sets things off. Johnny Smith played a Guild archtop in his early days. George Benson played them too.  The original case is in beautiful condition. I would put this up against any Gibson or any other high archtop, and here's the cool part; it's priced oh so reasonably.
