The electronics layout, a few key specifications, and PRS craftsmanship combine in the McCarty 594 to create an instrument that plays in tune, is intonated the entire length of the neck, and feels like a guitar that you’ve been playing forever. The McCarty 594 Semi-Hollow had its debut at Experience PRS 2018.

"The 594 is the best new guitar I've played in years. It has a vintage heart and soul but without the technical limitations that usually come along with an old instrument. What good is an old guitar if you can't get all that feel out of the upper frets, or the intonation is off? To hear that old PAF sound but be able to articulate the notes in a way that only modern manufacturing could allow is so exciting." – John Mayer
This is an extremely rare and difficult to find 1985 Kramer Baretta Guitar-Art graphic guitar. The art work is the Fantasy Series, Galactic Rainbow. According to VintageKramer.com. "These were introduced in the banana head stock era, so some of these graphics are very rare because you don't see them often on banana head stock Kramers." The artist, Shannon Hall, is internationally recognized and is now the official artist for the John Lennon estate.Learn More
This guitar is in excellent, near MINT condition. The previous owner said this guitar was in storage for 22 years from 1995 to 2017. The guitar is obviously a case queen, just look at the fine tuners on the Floyd and you'll see there's no wear or oxidation on the black finish. It has been professionally setup with 9 gauge guitar strings and plays like a dream.
Condition: The guitar has only very light swirl marks, 1 check (clear coat finish crack) on the back. The checking line runs from the back neck plate to the trem cover plate. You have to hold the guitar in just the right light at just the right angle for it to be visible. You can barely see it. Photos barely capture it. You can feel the head stock scarf joint line, which is common on these guitars. The joint is strong and has lasted 32 years. It has a factory neck shim. This is also very common. There is no rust on the Floyd Rose tremolo or rust on any of the hardware. The frets are like new and in perfect condition. It's a collector's grade instrument. I can not see any noticeable dents, dings, or scratches.
It feels heavy, so we are confident that it is a maple body Baretta. The guitar has a #4 written under the pickup. I do not know what this is in reference to. The Schaller reverse zebra humbucker pickup is dated 1/85. The guitar is an early D serial, #D-2949.
This is an amazing sounding and playing guitar. The original era Kramer hard shell case is included. The case alone is rare, with key locks, and worth a lot of money. I have not seen another Kramer case like this one. We do not have the keys.
Buy it fast before another collector gets their hands on it.
Note: The volume knob is not original.
Martin offered up this gorgeous and very limited Jimmy Buffet Polywog guitar in 2003. It has a fantastic feel, and is as legendary as the artist who inspired it. This guitar is a master crafted guitar, and sounds incredible. Gigantic rich and vibrant tones pour forth with each strum. Very well taken care of. It was owned by a collector who kept it in the case safe and sound. Just maybe some micro swirling. Near MINT! No breaks, cracks, or repairs. See pics. All original. Original Martin deluxe hard Case. Fantastic Tone and plays great!Learn More

Featuring an amazing one-piece figured maple top, and a Faded Whale Blue Smokewrap Burst finish.
PRS Guitars is proud to offer the acclaimed McCarty 594 and McCarty Singlecut 594 with PRS/Seymour Duncan Soapbar pickups. McCarty 594 models were designed to rival the best vintage instruments, meticulously spec’d with a 24.594” scale length, Pattern Vintage neck carve, tweaked Phase III locking tuners with modified collars and set screws, and a two-piece zinc bridge. Soapbars are one of the most classic pickup designs and add another tonal option for players that is at once incredibly familiar and effortlessly playable.
For this PRS/Seymour Duncan collaboration, we started with the Seymour Duncan Antiquity P90 for its sweet, vintage growl and cool, gritty sparkle. However, we modified the pickup slightly so it sits at the proper height in our cavity design. Like with original Antiquity pickups, chords sound full and round, while single notes sing sweetly. A relatively low output pickup, these soapbars have a many usable voicings by simply adjusting your volume and tone controls.Learn More
I love it when different genres merge together and form something unique and cool. This beautiful guitar was inspired by the great Alfred Hitchcock movie, "The Birds". So, film-music and wonderful craftmenship have joined together to create this beautiful instrument. It is a 2009 PRS Limited Edition Bodega Bay model with a Birdseye maple top that looks like the birds flying over Bodega Bay. Poor Tippi Hendren was driven to the brink of a nervous breakdown during the making of "The Birds". She suffered dearly, so the least you can do is buy this guitar. It was owned by a collector. We sold this originally, and the original owner picked it out of three other Bodega Bay models we had just received. This one had the very best top. It is in 100% mint condition. It was never played! You'll never find another in as perfect condition.

I've been describing guitars here since 1997. No idea how many. What I can say for sure is that I liked a bunch. Loved just a few. Hated even less. Mostly, I just kind of got along with the guitars and figured out what to say about them to help people decide each time if they should buy it or not. I never took that lightly, the part about whether you should buy a guitar. It's not the whole thing but it’s a big thing, getting the right guitar. This one...this guitar...
This is a guitar I want one of you to buy. Not all of you. Just the one who will understand. This guitar is my deep cut.
A deep cut is a little-known song from a well-known or respected artist. When musicians cover a deep cut, they hope to unearth a lost treasure, bring a bigger audience to a deserving work, pay homage to someone they appreciate, and maybe add a little something to it if they can. In a too-close-to-call race this may be one of the greatest all-around guitars I’ve ever played—certainly one of the most distinctive looking, and, I think, out of all the guitars I’ve ever played of any kind, the one that best expresses all the qualities I want in in my personal instruments - elegant and timeless aesthetics, superb craftsmanship, jaw dropping tone, and phenomenal playabilty. Buy this and you'll have an instrument for life.

"I've always thought CE's were really great guitars, and I couldn't be happier with this signature model. It can get pretty much any sound you want it to, it's super comfortable to play, and it's just cool to see a CE with a maple board and a Floyd. I hope everyone loves it as much as I do." - Dustie Waring / Between the Buried and Me
The progressive metal band Between the Buried and Me has a sound that is both heavy and melodic, lush and menacing. It is this demand for versatility without sacrifice that led to the development of guitarist Dustie Waring’s latest PRS signature model: the DW CE 24 “Floyd.” This model starts with the PRS CE bolt-on platform and includes a satin-finished maple neck, maple fretboard, a slightly modified Pattern Thin neck carve (Waring’s carve is slightly thinner front to back), and Floyd Rose tremolo system.
The pickups and electronics are also unique to Waring’s signature axe. The pickups are Waring’s signature Mojotone “DW Tomahawk” pickups. Made with a blend of Ceramic and Alnico magnets and a special winding technique, DW Tomahawks have plenty of output and big bottom end while remaining articulate and clear - a unique quality for high gain pickups. Paired with a volume and tone control and 5-way blade pickup selector that have been shi ed slightly to allow plenty of room to work the tremolo, the DW CE 24 “Floyd” is comfortable, fun, and inspiring to play.Learn More

From Melancon:Learn More
To be honest, one of the biggest influences on the guitars we build, came when I played a friend’s ’62 Strat for a couple of years. Like most players, I love the look and feel of vintage guitars, but I wasn’t willing to sacrifice the attention to detail and the playability in the guitars we build, just to offer a relic guitar. After years of saying no to the request for a relic guitar, the Aged Artist is now a part of the Melancon lineup and will deliver the best of old and new in one exceptional instrument. The nitro-cellulose lacquer finish and hand relicing will give each Aged Artist the feel of a guitar that has been lovingly played for years.
