  3. Bourgeois Slope D "The Standard" - Aged Tone Adirondack/Mahogany #7702
    $4,203.00

Those guys at Bourgeois know about loud, wow, this guitar is loud!  We are offering a new Bourgeois Slope D "The Standard" with an "Aged Tone" Adirondack spruce top and Mahogany back and sides. It's a fine, fine, super fine guitar.  It really is the standard all guitars should be judged by.  If you are familiar with late 40's early 50's Gibson J-50 and J-45 guitars, you'll know the sound I'm talking about, warm, rich, loud and succinctly brilliant.

Dana Bourgeois' passion for acoustic guitars was fostered by those coveted instruments built in the pre-war era. "The Standard" model was inspired by the classic designs that emerged from the midwestern United States at that time, but incorporates many elements of Dana's own design.

It starts with the striking Ziricote fretboard and bridge, beautiful in figure yet subtle enough to maintain the pre-war look. The single ring Ivoroid rosette and rectangular bridge hearken back to those old designs. Our contoured headstock was introduced with the L-DBO model, and fits the look perfectly!

  4. USED Suhr Classic Ice Blue Metallic w/ Museum Grade Birdseye Maple Neck
    $1,995.00

This is almost a vintage piece. It's 14 years old, which is pretty old for Suhr. This is a 2003 Suhr Classic with a Swamp Ash body and a stunningly gorgeous one piece Museum grade birdseye maple neck, with abalone dot inlay. Super cool. The finish is a beautiful Ice Blue Metallic. The pickups are JST V60's single coil. It's a case-queen. Collector owned. I can't find any wear at all. It plays like a dream, it sounds great, the frets are perfect, the electronics work flawlessly. It is as fine a Stratocaster style guitar as you could ever find.  Comes with hardsell G&G case.

  5. Eastman Antique Classic Thinline Semi-hollow Electric T59/V‐AMB
    $1,695.00 Click for price

A varnish finish, how cool is that? You hardly ever see a varnish finish on a guitar, and I don't think I've ever seen one on a guitar in this price range.  We have an Eastman T59/V AMB. It looks like an old violin. Everybody at the shop loves this guitar. Unplugged it's awesome, loud and resonant with lots of sustain. Plugged in, it's equally amazing. Its got a beautiful flamed maple top, back, and sides, with an antique amber sunburst finish. It just looks so good. Really authentic looking. The neck feels fantastic. The fret work is top notch. The Seymour Duncan pickups scream. This a fine, ES-335 style guitar, comparable to any Gibson or other semi solid guitar for a great price. There is nothing NOT to like about this guitar.

  7. Bourgeois Soloist Commemorative Limited Edition - Bearclaw German Spruce/Cocobolo #7680

    Regular Price: $8,820.00

    Special Price $7,938.00

Dana Bourgeois says: “Many years ago, inspired by Eric Schoenberg, I built what I believe was the first OM having a style of cutaway that has since become something of a modern classic. Eric and I later founded a company to produce the new model, which we named "The Soloist", after an elegant fingerstyle guitar from the Victorian era. The Bourgeois Soloist is a true fingerstyle OM, featuring a European spruce top, Brazilian rosewood back and sides, a 2 5/16" ebony pyramid bridge, and the original Soloist style cutaway. Maintaining the spirit of the original Soloist, I combined the finest woods with the simplest of appointments, including Ziricote body bindings, simple wooden rosette, short pattern slotted squares and diamonds inlay, and a distinctive slotted triangle on the heel cap. While on the subject of decoration, I should note that the marquetry backstrip that I first designed for the Soloist (and now use on many of my guitars) has been as widely emulated, and is presently available through a number of lutherie suppliers. Far from being offended, I am delighted by the notion that other luthiers have mistaken this for vintage design!"
