Here's a 46 year old S.L. Mossman Flint Hills model Rosewood Dreadnought. Made in 1977. Handmade in Winfield, Kansas the Flint Hills is perhaps the most well known model of the Mossman models, featuring a Sitka Spruce top, East Indian Rosewood Back and Sides, Ebony Fingerboard and Bridge, Grover Rotomatic tuners, 25 3/4" inch scale length, and Mossman’s own proprietary bracing.

Another spectacular instrument from Dana Bourgeois. This custom ordered Bourgeois was built in 2018. This guitar sounds like a cannon, and has opened up beautifully. The tone of this Honduran Rosewood is extremely similar to Brazilian Rosewood. Nice, strong bass fundamental, great projection, extremely loud and punchy. It's an "all-day-every-day" dreadnought acoustic. You'll never want to put it down. Thanks to the magic of the Adirondack spruce top you get huge low end, crisp and bright high end with lots of punch, and tone and volume that does not break down. No matter how hard you strike this instrument, it just gets louder and never gives out. This guitar has overtones for days with plenty of cut and articulation for serious flatpicking. An LR Baggs Anthem has been installed (a $329 value) and works perfectly. It is without a doubt a guitar of a lifetime!

Here's a stunning Alvarez Model 4286 Montana Five Star 5-string banjo. Made in the early 1970's. This banjo is in very good condition. Showing some finish wear on he bottom and fading of the gold hardware. The frets are near perfect. It shows some wear on the bottom of the lower bout. It would be difficult to find a 50+ year old instrument in much better condition. That said, it has extraordinary tone, it's gorgeous, and it's easy to play. A Bluegrass picker's dream.

  Here's a Taylor 614 model that was built in 2018. This guitar was special ordered without the cutaway (you don't see non-cutaway versions often) or electronics. It has no issues, no repairs. Collector owned, it has been lovingly taken care of and is in excellent, near mint condition. Description: All solid wood, Torrefied Sitka Spruce top, V-Class bracing, Maple back, and sides with Brown Sugar stain. Tropical mahogany neck with ebony fingerboard. This guitars deliver plenty warmth, depth, richness and sustain, without losing the clarity and transparency that allows maple to reflect the player and fit into a mix with other instruments.

Here's a cool guitar. A really cool guitar. A true one of a kind. We are offering a 1981 Mossman Guitar Golden Era model custom made for Bob Shane by Stuart Mossman to commemorate 25 years of the The Kingston Trio. This guitar was a collaborative effort between Bob and Stuart Mossman. Bob personally selected the Brazilian rosewood and spruce top from Mossman's private stash, (Remember the word "stash"...you'll understand in a minute). Bob played this guitar for three years on the road before he retired it. Kingston Trio was the the preeminent folk band in the early sixties and spearheaded the massive, folk boom. These guys are the Beatles of folk music. This is a fantastic guitar and a great piece of American music history.
