  This guitar is in fair condition. It has been cared for, but played, and shows play and finish wear that is appropriate for its age...it all adds to its vintage charm though. Neck, and neck angle are straight and true. The binding is in great condition. Frets are worn, with many pits and divets. Despite this, the guitar still plays surprisingly well, and sounds fantastic! You will encounter the odd rattle throughout the fingerboard though, from fret divets.

This is a rare and highly sought-after 1965 Fender Deluxe (non-reverb) model. Unlike the more common Deluxe Reverb, the non-reverb version is special due to its purer signal path, resulting in increased clarity, tighter low end, and a slightly quicker response.
