  This guitar is in fair condition. It has been cared for, but played, and shows play and finish wear that is appropriate for its age...it all adds to its vintage charm though. Neck, and neck angle are straight and true. The binding is in great condition. Frets are worn, with many pits and divets. Despite this, the guitar still plays surprisingly well, and sounds fantastic! You will encounter the odd rattle throughout the fingerboard though, from fret divets.

  The PRS NF 53 is a powerful guitar that combines classic tones with modern design. Inspired by one of Paul Reed Smith’s vintage guitars from 1953, the PRS NF 53 combines a swamp ash body and 22-fret, 25.5” scale length bolt-on maple neck with maple fretboard with a special set of PRS Narrowfield pickups. The PRS Narrowfield DD (Deep Dish) pickups are made with taller bobbins to fit more winds and extra metal pieces in between the magnets for a more focused, powerful tone.

The thin satin nitro finish gives this instrument a wonderful resonance and an open clarity that's noticeable even unplugged.   Here's a very cool 2008 Flaxwood Voima electric guitar. Crafted in Finland, these instruments are known for their innovative use of materials, exceptional build quality, rich tones, and superb playability. This Voima guitar is in excellent condition, with minimal signs of use: only light pickwear, no dents, nicks, bumps, or buckle rash. The neck is straight and true, and the frets show only the slightest hint of play wear. It has been well cared for and recently set up professionally with new strings. It comes with all of the original paperwork, hangtag, adjustment tools, tremolo bar, and hardshell case.

  This particular Flaxwood Voima guitar was showcased at the NAMM show in 2008, when Flaxwood was first introduced to the USA market. Its history as a NAMM showpiece adds to its uniqueness and value.
