  1. USED 1993 Paul Reed Smith Custom 24 10-Top Rare Purple Finish
    $2,995.00

Here's one to make all your friends jealous. A PRS Custom 24 with one of the most exceptional flamed maple tops you'll ever see. Made in 1993 at the old factory when PRS was still located at Virginia Ave in Annapolis, MD. Some collectors would call this a "Pre-factory", "Pre-CNC", or "Pre-Stevensville" model. You won't find many PRS Guitars with purple finish from this era. This color was very inconsistent with the stain on some tops being so dark the figure of the top was difficult to see. A few were like this, with great color and a maple top that has figure with extraordinary depth and definition.
All original. Plays perfectly and set-up perfectly! No major issues at all. This guitar has been lightly played early on in its life, and has been stored in its case for the past 20 years. It's obvious it's been well taken care of and is remarkably clean for a 26 year old guitar.
"Old factory" features: small heel, one piece tremolo, Mother Of Pearl "Old School birds", Wide Thin neck profile, Vintage Bass neck and HFS bridge pickups, phase 1 tuners, tone knob. Comes with original tremolo bar, truss rod tool, and hardshell case.

  2. USED 2006 R.Taylor Style 1 #008 GS Rare Cedar/Mahogany
    $2,995.00

R.Taylor Style 1 serial #008. This is the first R.Taylor we received as a dealer in 2006. It's the earliest serial number we've seen come up for sale too. This is a really good one. Taylor's 514ce model was one of their most popular for many years. And rightfully so, the combination of Mahogany and cedar is fantastic. Imagine the best sounding and playing 514 but on steroids and that's this guitar. It sounds bigger that a 514, is louder, has more sustain, with a higher volume ceiling, and with no loss of tonal balance.
      R. Taylor Guitars was a division of Taylor, the guitars were a step above the custom built Taylor models. Built in a different building from the rest of the Taylor production by a handful of Taylor's very best and most experienced luthier's. While still taking advantage of Taylor's vast resources and precision guitar components, these more experienced luthiers at R. Taylor worked in a small shop environment where they were able to spend more time on each individual guitar, tweaking the bracings if needed, instead of always leaving them exactly the way the CNC machines cut them like a production Taylor guitar.
Some of the major structural differences between an R. Taylor and regular Taylor is rather than using kerfing, R. Taylor used steamed and bent solid linings which involve more labor. This makes the sides far more rigid than traditional construction methods and translates into a lot more power than a similar shaped Taylor. The bridge plate is inset into the top giving it a lower interior profile and more sound transference to the top. The neck is a made out of one piece of mahogany while the standard Taylor uses a two piece neck heel and a headstock with a scarf joint.
In excellent condition. The only blemishes worth mentioning are a center seam separation that extends 1-1/4" below the bridge, and some very light belt buckle scrapes on the back. No other issues or signs of dryness. The frets are near perfect showing only the slightest hints of play. This R. Taylor Style 2 features Cedar Top, Mahogany Back and Sides, Tropical Mahogany Neck, Indian rosewood Body and Neck Binding, 1-3/4" Nut Width, 25" Scale, '65 Top Radius, and an Ameritage Hardshell Case.

  3. Paul Reed Smith 2002 NAMM Show EB-4 Bass Transparent Orange 10-Top RARE
    $2,695.00

Here's a 2002 Paul Reed Smith EB-4 bass that was shown at the 2002 summer NAMM Show in Nashville, TN. It was this show that PRS introduced their new Transparent Orange color, and every instrument that was displayed was orange. It was one of two PRS basses shown there. The other bass did not have a maple top. This one was fully blown with all the options sporting a gorgeous highly figured flamed maple 10 top, bird inlays, gold hardware, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, bolt-on maple neck, 2 single coil rail pickups, active preamp, 2 way switch for active or passive operation, 2 volume controls, 1 tone control. Transparent orange finish, 34" scale, and 21 frets.
One of the lightest PRS basses we've seen, weighing only 8 pounds 6 ounces. Very loud and resonant when played acoustically, with fantastic sustain. Sounds amazing when plugged in. In passive mode it has a tone similar to a Fender Jazz bass but with a bigger, fuller output. In active mode the tone is reminiscent of a Music Man Stingray. Of course the build quality is exceptional.
This bass was collector owned and is in mint condition. No scratches, no dings, no nicks, no fret wear. It as not been played outside of initial set-up and tuning.
The original hard shell case, hang tags, and all paperwork included.

  5. Paul Reed Smith SE Paul's Guitar - Aqua #7572
    $999.00

"The SE Paul’s Guitar is a great example of design, engineering, and teamwork. It’s as close to home as we could get inside of the SE Series, and I am very proud of it," Paul Reed Smith.
The SE Paul's Guitar delivers a lot of "PRS," starting with tone and versatility. The TCI "S" treble and bass pickups deliver a very pure, vintage sound. The SE Paul's Guitar also features two mini-toggle switches between the volume and tone knobs. This setup allows players to put either or both pickups in true single coil mode, which delivers the clarity and uniqueness of vintage single-coil tones in both single coil and humbucking positions. This is the first model to offer this style of electronics outside of the Private Stock and Core lines.
"The Paul's Guitar, like the Modern Eagle before it, has always been about Paul's latest discoveries in guitar making. To bring this guitar into the SE Series, we knew the tone, functionality, and playability had to be right and had to be consistent," said Jack Higginbotham, COO, PRS Guitars. "We feel this guitar offers a lot of value to players."

Built in a different building from the rest of the Taylor production by a handful of Taylor's very best and most experienced luthier's. The frets are perfect. A Fishman Ellipse Blend pickup has been professionally installed. There are no issues with this guitar.
This guitar has opened up beautifully over the past 13 years. Warm, thick, and rich trebles from the gorgeous Old Growth Redwood top combined with tight, full, and focused bottom end response of the walnut back and sides make this R. Taylor a phenomenal fingerstyle guitar. Old growth Redwood like this is stronger than cedar giving you the best qualities of cedar but with much more dynamic range. It also gives it more power and projection with a higher volume ceiling, meaning this guitar responds beautifully to a flat pick. You can strum this very hard without the compression and top distortion you would get with a cedar top. Truly the best of both worlds and an incredible combination of woods that would suit any style of playing...This R. Taylor Style 1 features Old Growth Redwood Top, highly figured walnut Back and Sides, Tropical Mahogany Neck, Ebony Body and Neck Binding, 1-3/4" Nut Width, 25" Scale, '65 Top Radius, and an Ameritage Hardshell Case.

  10. Bill Kelliher of MASTODON's 1989 Marshall JCM 800 Lead Series Model 2204 50-Watt Master Volume Mk2 Head
    $1,500.00

Please note, we no longer ship vintage amps. They are local pickup only. Give the store a call for more information 901-729-2466.

Used 1989 Marshall JCM 800 Master Model 2204, 50-watt MK II Lead serial number X19564. Previously owned and toured with by Bill Kelliher of Mastadon, this amp head is in excellent condition, fully functional and cosmetically clean. The back panel has been signed by Bill.
The JCM 800 series was introduced in 1981. Although the model 2204 had been in production since 1975, they were reintroduced as JCM800 amplifiers in '81. The JCM800 amplifiers became a staple of 1980s hard rock and heavy metal bands.
These were the second series of Marshalls equipped with a master volume, which allowed for more distortion at lower volumes. The JCM800 is considered a "hot" amplifier because it has more gain stages than comparable amplifiers, and in "lead" mode, in the "high" input, an extra triode provides extra gain to the pre-amplifier, which really added to the highly driven rock sound.
Great sounding amp, timeless design, strong powerful sound!

I love this amp. You know why? It sounds incredible. It's easily one of the best amps Fender has ever produced, with a reputation that is well earned. Here we have a 1994 Custom Shop Fender Vibro King. Hand wired in the USA. From the first year of production with an early serial number, #0144. The Bruce Zinky-designed circuit wasn’t a reissue of a classic Fender tone machine, but rather a re-imagining of what a Fender amp could be using key elements of older amps. After its introduction this amp found favor among some very high-profile players. Pete Townshend used them as the foundation for his stage tone. Also Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood, Tom Petty, and blues wunderkind Gary Clark Jr. You can cover everything from raging Dick Dale-style surf runs and Bakersfield twang, to higher gain tones. It is blonde tolex with an oxblood color grill cloth. It has three original 10" speakers, and foot switch. It's 60 watts powered by 2 6L6 power tubes which is plenty loud for any gig! Uses an EL84 tube for reverb. The condition is very clean and nice. It works perfectly, and of course like we mentioned before, it sounds incredible.

Here's a 2014 Fender Super Sonic amp. It's a great sounding amp. The Super-Sonic was Fender's response to a lot of requests for an amp that can do both vintage Fender style clean tones and contemporary high-gain overdrive. In all original, near mint condition. No mods, no repairs. Blonde tolex with oxblood color grill. In perfect working condition. It's the ideal club amp, not too big but it will get the sound out there.
