If this one isn't already on your radar, it should be. For a smaller body guitar, Larrivee's 0-40r creates an outstanding range of sound. It is not only seriously fun to play, and easy to sit with; but is surprisingly full-sounding, and balanced. This would make an outstanding instrument for recording.

This one has grown sweetly mellow over the years and has great balance with great dynamic range. Overall the guitar is appears very clean with some light surface scratches and dings on the top back and sides. The neck is straight and true. Frets show some slight impressions here and there under the B and high-E strings. Nothing that affects playability. The frets should have years of play left in them. Comes with Taylor hardshell case. -

Bryan Sutton has this to say: "From the first time I played the Slope-D Bourgeois that would come to be known as the "Banjo Killer", I was amazed at the range of tone and volume the guitar could produce. The guitar always seems to be to able to handle any dynamic level of play. I can hear the guitar clearly in a loud jam session without feeling like I have to overplay and also enjoy a full and sustained tone when I want to play softly.” -
