This Takamine FT340 BS is a limited edition, with only 300 pieces made worldwide. Made in 2024. It is in mint condition, collector-owned, and it honestly looks like it has never been played. The guitar features a solid spruce top and a beautiful, rare burled sapele back and sides, finished in a gloss finish. The mahogany neck has a satin finish on the back that feels nice and comfortable in the hand. It is also equipped with a CTF-2NT pickup system, so you have top-quality sound if you need to plug in. Comes with its original semi-hard Takamine case, also in mint condition.

The square-shouldered 14-fret dreadnought is the most popular steel-string acoustic guitar body shape in the world. While Collings is certainly not the only company to build them, they bring a new tonal clarity to the depth and warmth usually associated with such a large, deep-bodied guitar. This means maximum strength using the least amount of material. It's a build that allows even further vibration of the soundboard, while still offering a controlled dynamic bass response. Like all Larrivée's, the 40 Series are built in America using only all solid wood and feature upgrades like bone nut and saddle, diamond fingerboard dots, and 18:1 open-back tuners. Jean's revolutionary new bracing design means a robust and unique tone that is sure to appeal to traditional and long-time Larrivée players alike.

  Goncalo Alves, commonly known as Tigerwood, is an incredibly distinctive lumber species. Its golden-brown to deep red-brown hues are interspersed with blackish-brown streaks, creating the tiger-like streaks that give it its name.

Featuring a Thermo-Cured Adirondack Spruce top. The Orchestra name was given to this model in 1929 in an attempt to entice guitarists in dance orchestras to pick one up and take it to a gig. In more recent years, it has become a go-to instrument for finger pickers, due to its sensitive dynamic profile and subtle tonal properties. It provides a more carefully sculpted sound than a big bodied acoustic.

Rich midrange tones with a strong fundamental focus and minimal overtones are complemented by the warmth and natural compression of the mahogany soundboard, while our innovative V-Class voicing architecture produces louder volume, longer sustain and improved harmony all the way up the neck. The gloss-finished body and satin-sheen mahogany neck and peghead boast a dusky, hand-sprayed shaded edgeburst color treatment. Other standout visual details include Island Vine fretboard and peghead inlays in Hawaiian koa and maple, a Hard Rock maple peghead logo, black body binding, a single-ring black/maple rosette, and a firestripe pickguard.   Here is a beautiful, limited edition Larrivee SD-40R sloped dreadnaught. Made in 2021. Collector owned. With the exception of one tiny little ding at the top of the headstock, it is in mint condition. No other wear. Upgraded with a Vine headstock logo, pyramid bridge, signed label, and AAA Sitka Spruce top. Jean Larrivee had a small stash of 20+ year old AAA spruce tops that he felt would be ideal for bluegrass and used them for this limited run. Beautifully made with great attention to detail.
