It is the culmination of years of research and application from Paul Gagon, the G&L VP Engineering. Their vintage-spec CLF-100 Alnico single coils were developed directly from original Leo Fender prints, and successfully and impeccably capture that sparkle and spank of late 50s single coils. Coupling with the vintage tones is modern crafting, like Leo Fender's PTB (Passive Treble and Bass) system, which functions on all three pickups for dramatically more variety than the vintage setup, and a Dual-Fulcrum Vibrato bridge that allows for maximum stability in bending.

The Xotic XSC guitars are hand built in the USA and feature nitrocellulose finish, flame roasted maple neck treated with oil for the ultimate in playability and Raw Vintage hand wound pickups based on Xotic’s own proprietary design.

Featuring a chambered mahogany body with maple cap, flame maple veneer, and single f-hole, the SE Zach Myers provides smooth mid-range tones with a natural, resonant internal reverb. Additional appointments to the PRS SE Zach Myers signature model include a 22-fret, 24.5” scale length neck, PRS adjustable stoptail bridge, vintage-style tuners, and PRS-designed 245 “S” pickups paired with two volume and two tone controls and a 3-way toggle pickup switch. These pickups bring high-end clarity, low-end power, and an overall aggressive punch that maintains a certain sweetness.

Upgraded with pearloid pickguard and block fingerboard inlays. Doheny takes the bolt-on offset-body into new sonic territory with the newly developed Magnetic Field Design jazz pickups. With a classic jazz bobbin aperture wrapped with traditional Formvar wire, these pickups just might be the approach Leo would have taken had he been with us a few years longer. The sound is rich in harmonics yet surprisingly full, delivering the experience fans have hoped for; with their flexibility maximized by the PTB tone system that allows for classic tones while delivering more output and range for today’s music.
