  1. USED Fender 2006 Stratocaster 60th Anniversary Diamond Limited Edition #2120
    $1,095.00

I wonder if Leo Fender knew when he saw the first Fender Stratocaster roll off the production line that he had invented an iconic guitar? An instrument that would help define popular music and popular culture for decades, and over 60 years later is still going strong. Probably not. I bet he thought, "Well, I hope somebody buys it." We are a long way down the road from the inception of the Fender Stratocaster, and I promise you people will continue playing them for years to come. Today we have a very cool, 2006 Fender Stratocaster 60th Anniversary Standard made in the USA. Fender made this guitar to commemorate the company's founding 1946-2006. This guitar is collector's grade, near perfect condition. It still has the plastic coating on the pickguard. The neck is straight and true. The frets are in perfect condition. It plays and sounds great. The maple neck has an Indian rosewood fingerboard with a comfortable C profile. The sunburst finish is beautiful. 2. Paul Reed Smith 2002 NAMM Show EB-4 Bass Transparent Orange 10-Top RARE
    $2,695.00

Here's a 2002 Paul Reed Smith EB-4 bass that was shown at the 2002 summer NAMM Show in Nashville, TN. It was this show that PRS introduced their new Transparent Orange color, and every instrument that was displayed was orange. It was one of two PRS basses shown there. The other bass did not have a maple top. This one was fully blown with all the options sporting a gorgeous highly figured flamed maple 10 top, bird inlays, gold hardware, Indian Rosewood fingerboard, bolt-on maple neck, 2 single coil rail pickups, active preamp, 2 way switch for active or passive operation, 2 volume controls, 1 tone control. Transparent orange finish, 34" scale, and 21 frets.
One of the lightest PRS basses we've seen, weighing only 8 pounds 6 ounces. Very loud and resonant when played acoustically, with fantastic sustain. Sounds amazing when plugged in. In passive mode it has a tone similar to a Fender Jazz bass but with a bigger, fuller output. In active mode the tone is reminiscent of a Music Man Stingray. Of course the build quality is exceptional.
This bass was collector owned and is in mint condition. No scratches, no dings, no nicks, no fret wear. It as not been played outside of initial set-up and tuning.
The original hard shell case, hang tags, and all paperwork included.

I love this amp. You know why? It sounds incredible. It's easily one of the best amps Fender has ever produced, with a reputation that is well earned. Here we have a 1994 Custom Shop Fender Vibro King. Hand wired in the USA. From the first year of production with an early serial number, #0144. The Bruce Zinky-designed circuit wasn’t a reissue of a classic Fender tone machine, but rather a re-imagining of what a Fender amp could be using key elements of older amps. After its introduction this amp found favor among some very high-profile players. Pete Townshend used them as the foundation for his stage tone. Also Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Ronnie Wood, Tom Petty, and blues wunderkind Gary Clark Jr. You can cover everything from raging Dick Dale-style surf runs and Bakersfield twang, to higher gain tones. It is blonde tolex with an oxblood color grill cloth. It has three original 10" speakers, and foot switch. It's 60 watts powered by 2 6L6 power tubes which is plenty loud for any gig! Uses an EL84 tube for reverb. The condition is very clean and nice. It works perfectly, and of course like we mentioned before, it sounds incredible.

No mods, no repairs. Blonde tolex with oxblood color grill. In perfect working condition. It's the ideal club amp, not too big but it will get the sound out there. Vintage 1973 Marshall JMP 2040 Artiste model. Artistes were produced from 1971-1978 and are not common, especially the early hand-wired models. This has the more sought-after hand-wired point-to-point board: it's a relatively simple job to convert this to a Plexi-style circuit. As a result, these rare amps are getting even more rare and sought after. This compact 2x12 combo amp has two channels with two inputs per channel. Each channel has separate bass, treble, and volume controls, channel one having spring reverb. Presence controls governs both channels. They're not a typical Marshall and is more Fender in sound; almost like a Dual Showman on steroids, but with huge amounts of grunt and great break-up. Cabinet is fitted with original 2x12" Celestion G12H Greenback 16ohm speakers. This amp has seen some action and has tons of Mojo. Has scuffs and damage to the tolex and and there's minor damage to the speaker cloth, but none of this affects the amp's performance, which is awesome.

  8. Mesa/Boogie California Tweed 1x12 Combo - Cream Bronco/Cream-Tan Weave Jute Grille
    $1,899.00

In the twilight of the 1960s, SF Bay Area amp repairman to the Stars, Randall Smith, was inspired to start building his own amplifiers after coming to a deep appreciation for the '50s Tweed circuits developed by Leo Fender. He loved their organic sounding voice, powerful controls and the way they smoothly transitioned from clean to clip and back again.
Standing on the shoulders of a giant, Smith’s (and the World’s) first venture into boutique guitar amplification resulted in a new Boogie amp design inspired by that wonderful, timeless sounding preamp. Five Decades later we return to pay homage. Now, drawing on these 50 years of experience, we bring forward an exciting new realm of tweed-based performance and authentic 6V6 character. A beautifully simplistic design that raises the bar in the world of vintage tone. The NEW CALIFORNIA TWEED

  9. USED Fender 2006 Eric Johnson Signature Stratocaster
    $1,395.00

I saw Eric Johnson play in 1988 at a tiny venue called The Antenna Club here in Memphis, just a block and a half away from where our shop is right now. That was after his "Tones" album had been released and a couple of years before "Ah Via Musicom". I didn't know much about Eric at the time and only went because I'd read an article in which Billy Gibbons said Eric was "an absolutely terrifying player", I figured if Billy thought the guy was great, then the guy had to be great. He opened the set with his now famous song, "Cliffs Of Dover". My jaw hit the floor, and from then on Eric Johnson has been one of my greatest guitar heroes. Here we have a 2006 Fender Eric Johnson Signature Model Stratocaster. This guitar is the brainchild of Johnson himself, designed with Eric's personal preferences and features. This Stratocaster is a result of his expressed desire to give back to collectors, players and; especially his fans. Eric Johnson is famously meticulous in crafting his tone, and every facet of the guitar is designed to Johnson’s own detailed specs, from the specially voiced pickups to the extra-contoured neck and body to the distinctive tremolo assembly and much more. A refined signature model honoring one of modern music’s finest Strat masters.
This 2006 Eric Johnson is in excellent condition, with just a few minor dents and scratches. The neck is straight and true. There is no fretwear.
includes the original paperwork and hardshell case.

  10. 1986 G&L Broadcaster serial #00002
    $37,500.00

Every now and then a guitar comes along that has so much documented history, it reads like a great book. This guitar can be traced back to it's inception. We have a 1986 G&L Broadcaster serial #BC00002. Check that out. Number 2! Here's the story: This guitar was purchased from Kenneth Hyatt, son of the late Dale L. Hyatt. Dale Hyatt was one the original partners of G&L, along with Leo Fender and George Fullerton. The entire saga is written up by My Hyatt's son in a several-page letter that will be included with the guitar. The history is eloquently written and quite fascinating; detailing the history of G&L. I'll give a brief synopsis: Dale Hyatt had worked with Leo Fender for years, back in the Fender days and again, with G&L. When George Fullerton left, Dale Hyatt took over the day to day management of the factory. Mr Hyatt had a keen sense of history and kept the first serial number plates, 00001 to 00059 for special models. In 1986 this guitar was built for Dale Hyatt using the early serial plate and it is signed by Leo Fender.

This guitar is in mint condition. It has never been played and still has the protective plastic covering on the pickguard. We also have the original shipping box! The "black on black" design again was Dale Hyatt's idea. This instrument is not only historically significant, it's a fantastic guitar.

    $895.00

Please note, we no longer ship vintage amps. They are local pickup only. Give the store a call for more information 901-729-2466.

Up for sale is a cool and somewhat rare 1968 Fender "Drip Edge" Dual Showman Amp head. Serial number A13754. This was most recently owned by the guitarist from the legendary Memphis band, Target. Target had a large Mid-South regional fan base in the early 1970's and opened for Black Sabbath, Boston, and Kiss. Their lead singer, Jimi Jamison, went on to become the front man for Survivor and sang on a bunch of their hits; "I Can't Hold Back", High On You", "The Search Is Over", and "Burning Heart". It was mostly used to power their two A-7 PA speakers that Jimmy sang through! It has "Target" stenciled on the top. It puts out roughly 85 watts with a set of vintage RCA 6L6 power tubes, nice vibrato, and clean headroom for days. Overall in very good to excellent condition, and sounds and functions great. The transformers are original. Output transformer coded 606816, dating it to 1968. Sweet vintage Fender!

  12. Vintage 1962 Fender Deluxe Brownface
    $3,750.00

Please note, we no longer ship vintage amps. They are local pickup only. Give the store a call for more information 901-729-2466.

This is a vintage 1962 Fender Brownface Deluxe. It is an original Deluxe, not a reissue. 1962 was a great year for music. It's the same year Booker T. & the M.G.'s are formed here in Memphis, TN. The Beatles played their first session at EMI's Abbey Road Studios in London. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards met Brian Jones at the Ealing Club, a blues club in London. And this amp was built.
One of the most celebrated guitar amplifiers ever produced, the Fender Deluxe has been in continuous production, in various versions, since 1946. Originally introduced as the Model 26 with a 10" speaker and wood cabinetry, the model was rechristened the Deluxe in 1948, and fitted with tweed covering and 12" speaker. Upgraded to 15 watts in 1954, the Deluxe was redesigned with the lustrous brown Tolex covering in 1961. Produced only until mid-1963, brown Tolex models are among of the rarest of all Fender amplifiers.
This is an exceptionally fine example of pre-CBS production. It's so clean it could easily pass as a reissue. This 1962 Fender Deluxe amp features hand soldered point-to-point circuitry, and a classic 12" blue Jensen t speaker. Six knob layout includes Normal and Bright channels, the latter with tremelo Speed and Intensity controls. All original gleaming brown Tolex covering, grille cloth, knobs, foot switch and leather handle. The amplifier has been maintained in uncannily pristine condition and sounds equally amazing. RCA 6V6 power tubes. The handle is a new replacement and the original handle is included. A timeless classic, this brown beauty looks much like it did when it left the Fullerton factory in 1962.
